Although better known as a competitions portal, Loquax has been involved with bingo since 2004. Back then we established a partnership with Jackpotjoy which was then followed by our first white label bingo site called Prize Bingo. We have since opened two further sites Loquax Bingo and Bingo House. All three are on the Globalcom bingo network.

To help promote bingo we established a dedicated channel here on Loquax. Initially it promoted a handful of bingo sites, but now has over 100 sites that feature in our free bingo, bingo news and bingo reviews.

One of our aims with the bingo section was to try and do something different to the traditional standalone bingo portal. To that extent we introduced the trackpots. These are graphics that show progresssive jackpot growth and wins so that players can decide which sites to play at.

We were one of the first UK bingo sites to utilise jackpot xml feeds and our innovation got us shortlisted for the A4U Affiliate Gaming Vertical Award in 2008. Sadly we were beaten by Virgin Games, but at least had the consolation of being the only affiliate on the sector's shortlist for that year.

Taking things further we have since created graphics to show player numbers and jackpots as well as provide data to show players the jackpots and games currently taking place across a number of bingo rooms. We continue to look at new and innovative ways to create bingo content.

Whilst many sites now employ dedicated content writers, or even buy in content, we continue to write all our content for our bingo news in house and in our own style. This is very important to us! We also write our own reviews and especially enjoy commenting on our recent TV Bingo Ads section.

Our presence in the bingo sector has been further cemented with Jason being invited to be panellist at the annual Bullet Business Bingo Conference (talking about affiliate marketing) and Loquax appearing in the list of most visible bingo sites.

Competition within the bingo sector has most certainly intensified during 2009, however we intend to keep working hard and promoting bingo in what we think is a fun and enjoyable way.
