Elf Bingo Review

Elf Bingo was the 13th member of the 15 Network which, at the time, also featured Showreel, Tidy and our very own Clucky Bingo. It was perhaps fitting that this new addition launched just before Christmas in 2013. However, don't be expecting to find the seven levels of the Candy Cane forest. You also won't find the sea of swirly twirly gum drops or emerge through The Lincoln Tunnel. Elf in this case is all about the supernatural pointy eared creature and apparently has "the number one bingo site for players everywhere". New players are welcomed with a Mega Wheel bonus which offers the chance to win up to 500 slot spins.

Introducing Elf Bingo

When Elf first launched it boasted a boyish looking elf figure. That figure has since been dumped, care of The UKGC, and instead there's quite a stylish looking brand. Fairy mushrooms and a tree with a door dominate the site and set the scene. A scroll highlights the latest big winners whilst featured slots fill the lower part of the homepage. Disappointingly there's no indication of available bingo rooms which we find strange for a bingo brand. Even more so as Elf Slots exists to cover slots. That said the site looks great on mobile, tablet and desktop but no app is required to enjoy Elf Bingo on the move.

Elf Bingo Welcome Offer

Join Elf Bingo as a new player and you'll receive a spin of the Mega Wheel when you make a first deposit £10 or more. Register, login and fund your account to qualify for the bonus. Spinning the Mega Wheel gives you the chance to win up to 500 spins on slots like Starburst and Fluffy Favourites. On a spin you could also win Amazon vouchers or nothing at all. Wagering terms apply to this bonus - and indeed all bonuses from Elf - and these are typically at a quite hefty x65 requirement. Saldy Elf does not offer any bingo bonuses and all wagering in the bingo rooms is cash only!

Elf Bingo Rooms

Login to the lobby area of Elf Bingo to find a selection of bingo rooms and instant win games. In February 2020 Jumpman closed their own rooms such as Lucky Stars and Pay Day Jackpot. These have now been replaced by Pragmatic Play's bingo games. This means Volcano can now offer 75 ball, 80 ball and 90 ball games in rooms such as Boombox, Stars N Stripes and The Jackpot Room. Tickets on average cost around 10p per game but occasinally there are cheaper options. Montly jackpot games are also available although do note these are shared by other Pragmatic Play brands such as Heart Bingo, PlayOJO and Butlers.

Elf Slots

Jumpman bingo brands are much more slot orientated and it's perhaps no surprise that the many of the promotions mentioned above are aimed at slot players. Popular games include Riviera Star, Mystery Reels, Starburst, Rainbow Riches, Frishin Frenzy, Chilli Heat, Wolf Gold, Great Rhino and Megaways titles. Progressive jackpot slots, powered by Eyecon Games, are joined by a collection of casino games including blackjack. Live casino games have recently been added and new titles are always improving the roster. We understand side games from Playtech are the next inline to join the Jumpman bandwagon.

Elf Promotions

In the past Elf has offered new players a no deposit bonus, branded mugs and even Elfie Sticks (selfie sticks). Sadly these offers have now passed. Also on the Elf Bingo scrap heap are monthly prize draws including Treat Yours-elf and the exclusive Elf Lottery where you had the chance to win a £100 Amazon voucher. An "Elves Only" bingo room wass promised but that never materialised. Instead Elf relies on the network promotions and bingo jackpots. Promos are slot orientated and include nclude a new Rewards Reel game for qualifying depositors. Other promos include Happy Hours and Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. The latter rewards the player with the highest slot win with a £50 Just Eat Voucher.

Our Verdict

It's fair to say that back in the day Elf was most certainly one of the better 15 Network brands in terms of added value for players. However without things like The Elf Lottery and various new player bonuses it's lost it's shine. There's nothing at Elf to make us choose this one over any other option and there's nothing bingo wise that really makes us want to part with our money. It's worth noting that Elf Slots is identical to Elf Bingo in terms of games, offers, promotions and mega wheels etc. Given that Elf Bingo really lacks anything bingo orientated we wonder why the two don't just merge. Unless bingo seriously improves then Elf Bingo has no place other than in the shadow of Elf Slots. Additionally all withdrawals incur a £2.50 admin fee which isn't something we find attractive.
