For the Christmas season, Sky Poker has brought back the UK Online Poker
Series. From 27th to 30th December, four online poker events will take place
across four days. The autumn extravaganza was a huge success, so Sky Poker
have brought it back for Christmas.
The four events at Sky Poker carry £100,000 in guaranteed pots but that’s not all, there’s
another £72,000 in side events available with the grand total over four days
reaching £172,000. Like last time, there will be satellites into each of the events
giving players who perhaps don’t stake huge amounts usually, to have a pop
at the big prizes.
The UKOPs main events take place at 8pm on the four days in
question, with a £110 buy-in for the first three and a £220 buy-in for the final.
In the grand finale there is £50,000 up for grabs, with three side events totalling
£20,000 between them; so it’s really worth getting involved.
With the Semi’s running every night at 9pm at the moment, the buy-in is only
£24 and even satellites running into these tourneys are under £3, showing that
just about anybody can get their chance to play in the bigger games. To get
