On August 19th, 2006 the Paddy Power World Strip Poker Championship will take place at Café Royal, London. At this event Paddy Power will attempt to set a world record for the largest strip poker tournament. Volunteers will play No Limit Texas Hold´em for a winner-takes-all prize of £10,000 and free entry to the 2007 Paddy Power Irish Poker Open with a prize find in excess of £1,000,000. Entry is free for all participants.
Paddy Power need 100 men and 100 women to help them set the world record for the largest strip poker tournament. You need to be available to play for up to eight hours on August 19th, understand and accept all the rules. Preference will be given to female players, joint male/female applicants and and teams and individuals playing for a specific charity.
The current strip poker record of 104 players was set in 1999 by the Naturist Society of Estonia who, in an unusual twist, started off naked and donned clothes as they lost hands.
