Fixed Odds Lottos At Ladbrokes

Since The National Lottery changed the price of participating in The UK lotto we've noticed an increase in interest in lottery betting. Now that the Euromillions game is also about to change we're anticipating even more people exploring their options when it comes to gambling on some numbered balls. To assist you we're taking a look at the various places you can bet on lotteries online. Our first review is Ladbrokes.
49s & Daily Millions
When we first reviewed Ladbrokes' Fixed Odds Lottos' section back in July 2016 it gives punters the chance to bet on nine different games. These included 49's 6 Ball, 49's 7 Ball, Irish Lotto, New York Lotto, Spanish Daily Lotto and Spanish Sunday Lotto. Bets could be placed via desktop or through mobile/tablet. A few years later and things have changed. Options on the lotto section of Ladbrokes have been reduced. Bets are now only available on three games: Daily 49s, Daily Millions and The Irish Lottery.
In fact there's been a marked step back in quality of this channel. A few years ago the Ladbrokes Lotto channel gave you extensive information about betting on lotteries. There were 35 draws per week to bet on and the maximum win was £250,000. Finding information is quite tough now, and the channel is quite sparse. Thankfully a lucky dip option is still open to all players. For example on the Irish Lottery you can use this option for lucky 3, 4 or 5 numbers. If you're keen on checking out the results then there's no point heading to Ladbrokes. For whatever reason they no longer have the numbers for all the fixed odds lottos that they feature.
Lotto Results At Ladbrokes
You did used to be able to see the last three weeks of results on the main page. Unless we're missing something there's no way of finding out even the latest lotto results. Mind you couldn't check your numbers nor can you see which lottery numbers are hot or cold. Back in 2016 we said that we thought "Ladbrokes could make the results section a lot clearer and a lot more user friendly". Now it'd just be nice if they have a results section?
Obviously to bet on lotto at Ladbrokes you need to be registered and then login to the site. Go to the lotto channel and then select the game you wish to wager on. You then can pick your numbers either direct or using a Lucky Dip. If you're doing it direct then a pop-up window appears where you can highlight the chosen numbers. Don't forget to scroll down the pop-up and click submit otherwise your numbers don't register. Once you've selected your number it's a case of choosing your wager and then placing the bet.
Our Verdict
Lottery betting has changed considerably in The UK. Players can no longer wager on The UK or Euromillions results via UK bookies. However Ladbrokes have pared back their lotto channel considerably. Perhaps interest in betting on Spanish and New York games has waned? If that's the case no worries but why lose stuff like lottery results, big winners and stats for players?
Betting on lotteries is easy with Ladbrokes and you know you're with a trusted bookmaker when you register. In 2016 we said "we would like to see a few tweaks to their service though as they could help improve the offering". Now we'd like to see a few more tweaks just to make it worthwhile choosing Ladbrokes as your bookie for lotto betting. Other bookies like Betfred and Bet365 offer plenty more options.
