2014 will go down as the year that the owner of Costa Bingo decided to expand their network. When Rio launched earlier in the year we didn't expect that they'd be further additions to the stable. However Angry, Wish and Bingola are live and they've now been joined by yet another new kid on the block. Treasure Bingo.
With a name like Treasure Bingo there can really only be one theme for this site - pirates! And that it be me hearties! Like all Mandalay Media sites Treasure is graphically pleasing and this one features a pirate ship, skull shaped island buried treasure and even a cartoon pirate. We'd like to see more of the pirate as we think he'd make a decent character to be the focal point of the site.
Away from the pleasing images there's not too much here that will make you think "oooh that's unique". Treasure Bingo offers new players a £5 free no deposit bonus plus a 500% welcome bonus on deposits of £5 to £10. It's the same offer that you will see on other new sites such as Angry and Bingola.
The games and jackpots are also identical to these sites although they've been given appropriate pirate themed names. For example the £10,000 free game that plays every Friday is called the £10K Jolly Roger. As yet there are no exclusive promotions at Treasure Bingo although that may change from next month. Mind you it may well be that it does end up sharing offers with other brands on the network.
So what other treasures can you find at Treasure Bingo? Well there's plenty of free bingo with special rooms for first depositors and reloading players. There are four progressive jackpots to play for and these can be found in the 90 ball, 75 ball and 5 Line Winners Rooms. Get involved with the reward scheme on the site and you'll have special games just for you in VIP.
For those players who love slots then there's the usual mix of titles including Millionaire Genie, Cleopatra, Fluffy Favourites, Wizard of Oz and Zuma. Surprisingly Treasure Bingo aren't pushing pirate themed games such as Pirate Princess - we think that would be much more interesting and on topic.
Treasure Bingo, like it's sister sites of Wish, Angry, Bingola and Rio looks great. However we do want to see a little more other than just another skin of the same games but with different names. We suspect that players will just jump in for £5 free and little else. That would be a big shame given the theme and look of the site.
