Vinnie Jones & Daily Star Games

Following the relaunch of Daily Express Games, sister brand Daily Star are also back on the bingo bandwagon. The Daily Star's approach to the relaunch is pretty much the same as The Daily Express - a site endorsement and TV advert featuring a celebrity. However, whilst The Express have got Claire Sweeney, The Star have gone super cool and brought in ex-footballer and Hollywood actor - Vinnie Jones!!
Yes you did read that correctly - Vinnie Jones. The star of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels , Snatch, Swordfish, Mean Machine, Gone In Sixty Seconds and X-Men: The Last Stand can now add 'bingo endorsement' to his CV! Actually, we're being a little unfair to Vincent as the advert above is pitched more at the gaming market rather than bingo players.
In the advert, Vinnie starts off as as though he's promoting an Injury Lawyer firm and enquiring if you've had an accident at work lately. However, he quickly becomes the Vinnie we know and love and snears "do I look like a nurse? You want to be a bit more careful"! We're then told all about Daily Star Games - a one stop portal for the hottest gaming experience on the net.
Vinnie concludes the advert by telling us that Daily Star Games is officially more fun than falling off a ladder. Now we love Vinnie (especially in Lock Stock and Snatch) but he's not in the same league as Claire Sweeney and shouldn't be scratching around doing adverts like this - let's hope the money was good!! Still without him the ad would be pretty run of the mill. One thing's for sure it's about 1000 times better than The Express' effort and Claire Sweeney.
