Winter Of Discontent At JPJ
Added on Friday 14th February 2014
This winter has been horrendous for a lot of people in The UK and you have to give credit to Jackpotjoy for trying to bring a bit of sunshine to proceedings. They're following up their Fiat 500 giveaway with a weekly holiday prize promotion and they've put together a new Queen of Bingo called "Winter Of Discontent".
In the advert Barbara Windsor delivers the classic line from Shakespeare's Richard III: "now is out winter of discontent". It's overly melodramatic as you'd expect! Babs ignores the next line - "Made glorious summer by this sun of York" - and instead changes it to "but not if you sign up at Jackpotjoy".
She then proceeds to tell us about all the great offers including the chance to win holiday prizes. Throughout the advert she's accompanied by two bodyguards or pages if you like - both look like they've dropped out of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Well, except for the fact at one point they're both holding exceptionally large ice cream cones. One of the guys even has his top off at one point to sort out QoB's pipes... ooh er missus!
It's another decent ad from Jackpotjoy and it's good to see the focus back on The Queen of Bingo. We're also pleased that the "Carry On" references have not reappeared for this outing as they really didn't add much to the Fiat 500 version. We have to also say we much prefer this JPJ campaign over those from Costa and Foxy. What about you - do you have any early bingo ad favourites of 2014 yet?
