Jackpotjoy Go For Gold
Added on Monday 29th December 2014
Back in September Jackpotjoy launched a new TV advert inviting players to get their hands on some big blue balls. These balls offered new players have the chance to win up to £10,000 every hour and the ad was accompanied by Vivaldi's Four Seasons - Spring (Part 1)! The same ad has been relaunched to take Jackpotjoy into 2015, but with a massive difference.
The £10,000 Blue Balls advert is exactly the same as the September version except Vivaldi has been dumped for Spandau Ballet. The advert is now accompanied by the massive 80s hit "Gold". Surprisingly this song never reached number one - we never knew that! Anyway the addition of the new track does make things a tad more memorable.
The one thing that confuses us though is that The Queen Of Bingo is firing out big blue balls whilst the Spandau's are singing about Gold. To try and marry up things a little better we do see gold exploding out the blue balls once they've reached their winning destinations. Perhaps for another ad Jackpotjoy can look at using Gold Balls? Or maybe there's scope to change the tune again? Blue Monday by New Order anyone?
The arrival of Gold by Spandau Ballet, who incidentally are prepping themselves for a major world tour in 2015, now means we have Bananarama (Gala Bingo), Ottawan (Wink Bingo) and The Pointer Sisters (Foxy Bingo) providing tracks for bingo brands. At this rate we'll be seeing playlists and even "Now That's What I Call Bingo" releases in the music industry.
We wonder what tune will be used next in a bingo ad? Let us know what songs you think would be perfect to promote your favourite sites?
