However we were disappointed by the wagering terms attached to wins from spins. Over at Bid Bingo there are no wagering terms attached to their cash prizes. Clash Of The Newbies is a weekly prize promotion that runs from 3rd June to 30th June 2019. You can get involved with this offer at Bid Bingo and it's sister brands. These include Pink Ribbon, Chit Chat Bingo, Love Heart Bingo, BingoZino and Bingo Ireland. Every week two slots are selected to "do battle". The slot that attracts the most wagers will be declared the winner and prizes will be awarded.
Battle Of The Slots
The battling slots are as follows: 3rd to 9th: Arcane Reel Chaos vs Tales Of Dr Dolittle 10th to 16th: Dead Or Alive 2 vs Wild Worlds 17th to 23rd: Dwarfs Gone Wild vs Rumble Rhino 24th to 30th: Shuffle Bots vs Hot Cross Bunnies
To take part you simply need to login and wager on one of the two slots of the week. Players will earn 1 point for every £10 wagered. At the end of the week the slot with the most wagering is declared the winner. The top three players of that slot - based on wagering - will win cash prizes of £100, £50 and £25 respectively. No wagering terms apply to these prizes.
£250 Cash Prizes
The good news is that there are prizes for players of the losing slot. The top three players based on wagering receive £40, £25 and £10 cash respectively. In total £250 in cash will be paid out every week. A total of 24 winners will be created throughout the whole promotion. Winners will come from all participating brands.
Whilst we were disappointed with Wink's Fluffy In Space promo because of the wagering terms attached to the prizes, this isn't the case with this offer. All prizes are paid as cash and no wagering terms apply. However, we do find leaderboard promotions to be weighted in favour of high roller players. There's no incentive just to wager a few pounds or try the slots.
We'd have liked to have seen a prize draw element so that all players have a chance of winning something. By all means reward the top players of each slot, but an adjustment of the prize pot could see them receive a share of £210 with £40 paid out to random players. For example why not have £80, £40 or £20 for the winning slot, £40, £20 and £10 for the losing slot and a £20 plus 2 x £10 random prizes?
