MeccaFest Is Coming From Mecca Bingo

2020 is already gearing up to be an interesting one for online bingo and we're not even through January. We've seen new game launches at Tombola and Buzz, platform changes for Coral and even new TV ads from the likes of Paddy Power and Mecca. And Mecca Bingo are really pulling out the stops for 2020 as they've just released a video hinting at an exciting event for May - MeccaFest!
MeccaFest will be taking place at Blackpool Tower's Ballroom. The unique venue will be transformed on the 30th May into the most fun, crazy bingo night the UK has ever seen. That's according to MeccaFest Creative Director Joe Swash who stars in the video above. Joe will be there alongside musical acts and celebrities. In addition during the evening they will be giving away £100,000 worth of bingo prizes.
£100,000 Of Bingo Prizes
Now an evening with Joe Swash and a host of unnammed celebrities, quite likely from reality TV, may not be high on your "to do" list. But an exciting bingo event in Blackpool's Tower Ballroom and £100,000 of prizes most certainly sounds exciting. The big question is just how do you get involved and how do you get tickets for MeccaFest 2020? Unfortunately at this moment in time we don't know.
All we do know is that Joe suggests keeping an eye on Mecca Bingo online to find out more. We're wondering whether they will bring back another round of Mecca Dream Come True. Regular visitors will recall this particular promotion ran at Mecca Bingo in the lead up to Christmas. One of the prizes on offer in that promo was a stay at a hotel with celebrity staff on hand to help out.
Limited Availability
Unfortunately you're going to have to wait until the end of January to discover more. According to Mecca Bingo's Facebook page you will have the "chance to win a pair of limited availability tickets" from the end of the month. We expect that there will be a number of tickets up for grabs as Mecca will need to have a number of players to fill The Tower Ballroom.
One thing that we hope that Mecca Bingo will try and do is break one of the current bingo world records. In April 2019 Gila River Hotels and Casinos took the largest bingo balls and largest bingo cards title from The UK. May 2020 and MeccaFest would be the perfect time for a UK bingo brand to reclaim the titles.
