Win A Mini Cooper On Mecca Raffles

Back in April Mecca Bingo launched their brand new raffles section. This section featured pay to enter competitions which, unlike a number of other raffle sites, actually guaranteed the prize on offer regardless of sales. We've always maintained that win a house competitions, car raffles and the like are gambling so A site like Mecca Bingo is the perfect home for them. However the brand still needs to convince players to take a closer look at the channel - and what better way of doing it than by offering players the chance to win a brand new car.
How To Enter
Head to Mecca Bingo and select the 'Raffles' section to find the win a Mini Convertible competition. Entries cost £1 each although (and it's not something we're big fans of) you have to make a minimum purchase of two tickets. Note that you can enter up to 100 times. In total there are 39,999 tickets available and even better you can enter for free. Postal entries need to be sent to Mecca Bingo Raffle, PO Box 5002, Alton, Hants GU34 9BZ and you must include your name and address. If you do choose the NPN route then you must also be registered with Mecca Bingo. Also be aware that one postal entry is only valid for one raffle and it needs to be made clear which one you're entering.
Mecca TV Live Draw
This pay to enter prize draw will run until the 18th June and a winner will be drawn on MeccaTV Live regardless of the number of tickets sold. This could be an expensive event for Mecca because just two weeks before the draw only 2765 tickets have been sold. A brand new MINI Convertible Cooper Classic will cost around £19,000 and we expect that Mecca would love to make some kind of profit on ticket sales. However it may well be that creating a car winner via Mecca Raffles will be beneficial longer term as players will see that real prizes can be won and that the brand are true to their word when they guarantee giveaways.
Free Bingo Session
If you're unsure of entering this particular raffle then there's an extra incentive available. A free bingo game which is only open to invited players who have entered the raffle. The free bingo session will take place on Saturday 19th June 2021 in the Private Multi room from 6pm for one hour. £2500 in prize money will be up for grabs during the free session. An invitation to join the session will be sent by account message and a pop up in the bingo lobby will also provide details upon log in. Although not mentioned we suspect that players will need to be present during the session to claim their free tickets.
Other Prizes & Winners
Since launch there's always four or five raffles running at Mecca Bingo. At time of writing - as well as the Mini - you can also try to win a £1500 cash prizes, 65in Samsung TV, Digital Entertainment System and a £250 Amazon Voucher. Entries for these particular raffles aren't that high so the odds are quite good. People do win the competitions and Mecca like to announce the lucky players in banners that slide across the top of the Raffles page. We'd like to see a winners section though that includes history of each draw including the number of tickets sold.
Is There Too Much Competition?
One of the biggest problems facing Mecca Bingo and their raffles is the amount of competition that exists. Raffle House for example have recently launched their 4th win a house contest to win a Copperworks Apartment and every week giveaway £6000 worth of prizes to an engaged audience. They've also added fixed odds competitions to their roster. The latter are quite expensive but entries to their other promotions cost just a couple of pounds. However despite a lot of advertising many people are still doubtful about Raffle House and how the process works. If Mecca Bingo with their Mini promo can convince players raffles are worth a look then this could boost the numbers taking part as we head into the second part of 2021.
