Aztec Bingo launched back in 2016 on the Virtue Fusion platform. An unusual move for a new site as this platform tends to be the playground for big brands like Gala and The Sun. However, Aztec players are encouraged to sign up and "get ready to battle and fight like a true warrior". But can Aztec Bingo really hold it's own versus the big boys of bingo?

Aztec Bingo Review

The Aztec Bingo site itself is quite attractive. It has a theme that fits with the brand and whilst the dark brown background is OK, it's quickly forgotten with the gold and greens that permeate through. The design of the site is also quite simple and in truth looks a lot better than some bigger brands on this network. Not mentioning any names Betfred!

Welcome Bonus

New players to Aztec are welcomed with a 300% first deposit bonus. Deposit 10 to 20 to receive a 30 to 60 bonus. This bonus has a x3 wagering term and it comes with a 7 day expiry. Players who go to make a second deposit can also collect a 200% deposit match bonus up to 100 - minimum deposit is 5 and the x3 wagering terms again apply to the bonus.

Inside the Aztec Bingo lobby you'll find 75, 80 and 90 ball bingo. The rooms include Temple Ruins, Aztec Empire, Aztec Gods and Aztec Express. We're less attracted to the Terror Tribe 80 ball room though! Virtue Fusion staples such as Cash Cubes and Rainbow Riches bingo can also be accessed. The site does say that they have standalone rooms as well as network games.

Promotions & Slots

As a Playtech powered brand Aztec Bingo offers a good selection of slots. Popular slots include Rainbow Riches, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Amazon Wild, Britain's Got Talent Superstar and Chests Of Plenty. Slots are arranged by featured, new and popular. They're also joined by a selection of instant win games.

Promotions are limited at Aztec Bingo but are still worth a look. For example at time of writing they were offering a 5 bonus when you spend 5 on a Tuesday (terms apply). In addition a similar bonus offer was being offered every Saturday. Loyalty is rewarded at Aztec Bingo with points that can be converted to bonuses. Plus the site offers a VIP Club to high rollers.

Our Verdict

Aztec Bingo is a great looking site that offers access to top bingo rooms, jackpots and slots. It's not going to be able to offer the same promotions as a Gala or Mecca though. However, if you want to try something familiar but away from the big brands then Aztec could be for you. The bonus promotions mentioned above are a nice incentive although we always like seeing more promos.
