Betfred Bingo Review
Betfred is another bookmaker who decided to add a bingo channel to their site. The bingo wing joined sportsbook, poker, casino and games to give players a full range of gambling products. Like it's fellow bookies, Betfred Bingo uses the Virtue Fusion platform which means plenty of variety in terms of rooms and slots.
Betfred Bingo offer a £40 welcome bonus for all new players. Deposit £10 to receive £30 for bingo and £10 for slots. However if you follow our link then you can claim a £50 bonus which includes an additional £10 games bonus. Wagering terms and conditions do apply and this is set at x2 for bingo and x15 for games. Compared to other brands these terms are quite reasonable.
As a Virtue Fusion brand, Betfred Bingo offers players a good range of games and slots. As well as the usual 75 and 90 ball rooms, you'll also find Rainbow Riches, Lucky Numbers, Cash Cubes, Bouncy Balls and Speed Bingo. Surprisingly there's no sign of Deal Or No Deal but you can still play Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Compared to Gala or Mecca or even Sky, Betfred does have less to offer in terms of rooms but that's only an issue if you're a fan of variants on the game.
For players who prefer to go mobile there is a Betfred Bingo app that can be downloaded for iPhone and Android. Alternatively you can just use your mobile/tablet browser. The app gives you access to all the various rooms as well as selected slots that are mobile friendly. We are a little perplexed as to why Betfred don't link their players to the respective app stores?
Promotions are regular at Betfred Bingo, but for the most part these are network offers. For example £20K Bingo Hour on the first Saturday of the month and a session of £10K Rainbow Riches that plays on the 2nd Friday of every month. However, Betfred do run exclusives and at time of writing (July 2017) they were giving away National Express vouchers in prize games.
For additional promotions do make sure you follow Betfred Bingo on Facebook as they frequently host mini-giveaways. In recent days they've dished out 25 bonuses - not big prizes - but with only 150 or so entries you have a 1 in 6 chance of winning something for nothing.
Something for nothing is one thing that isn't highlighted so much at Betfred. For example, as far as we're aware there's no newbie free bingo room. However, there are free games daily between 3pm and 3.30pm in the Disco Room. These are Superbook games where you can pay to play to win bigger prizes. There's more free bingo on Mondays but this is only for players who have qualified by playing Lucky Numbers over the weekend.
Side games are available to play and these include Big Top Tombola, Stampede, Rainbow Riches, Bouncy Balls, Clover Rollover, Mafia Millions, Fluffy Favourites and The Winnings Of Oz. A better selection of slots and instants can be found in the Vegas and Games sections at Betfred.
Betfred Bingo offers players a good platform to enjoy bingo and slots. On it's own it's decent enough but when compared to other Virtue Fusion brands it perhaps could offer a little more. That said it's great to see exclusives at the site as well as an active social media channel.
