Bingo Extra Review
With other bingo stables adding multiple sister sites to their ranks it's perhaps no surprise that Daub - the folks behind Kitty and Lucky Pants - have finally joined the bandwagon. They're latest brand is Bingo Extra and it features plenty of great promotions and games. Why not spend a moment and "read all about it"!
Bingo Extra launched in 2015 and since then hasn't changed all that much. We suspect that it may get a makeover soon as both Kitty and Lucky Pants have seen recent changes (November 2019). The design of 'Extra is actually fairly muted in soft yellow tones. There's a kind of pop art feel to the graphics but these have become less prominient now that The UKGC have stamped all over anything interesting when it comes to site design. The site is responsive though and works well on mobile and tablet.
New Player Bonus
New players to Bingo Extra are welcomed with a choice of a 100% bingo bonus or a 100% games bonus. Register as a new player and then make an intial deposit (minimum £10) to qualify. Wagering terms apply on both the deposit + bonus. The bingo bonus comes with a x4 wagering term whilst it's x25 should you opt for the games bonus. One thing we do like is that in the terms it clearly states that you can turn down the bonus.
Games wise you'll find 90 ball, 75 ball and 5 line 75 ball rooms to enjoy. The main rooms are The Candy Store, The Diner and Penny Arcade. There are also a selection of pre-buy rooms where you can get your cards for the big games in advance. It's worth noting that these bingo rooms and promotions are the same that you'll find on Lucky Pants and Kitty. For example Win Win Wednesday, where you play for £200 and get bonus back if you lose, and The £10K Slider which runs on the last Friday of every month.
As is now typical, joining the bingo rooms are a selection of top slots. These include The Price Is Right, Puffer Goes Wild, Cleopatra, Ozzy Osbourne, Frozen Fortunes and Starburst. A handful of table games are on offer but in our view you'd find better at more casino orientated brands. Making up the games roster is a choice of scratchcards and arcade games. We're not quite sure why they are called arcade games though and not just instant wins!
All players at Bingo Extra get to join the Extra Club. This is a loyalty scheme which rewards regular play with daily spins and bingo cards. Points can be earnt when wagering 50p on bingo or £1 on slots. Note you'll need to play £2 on table games to earn a point. Get enough points to climb to the dizzy heights of Gold for upgrade bonuses. A dedicated VIP manager awaits should you make Ruby or Emerald. Note that any bonuses awarded via the Bingo Extra Club will incur wagering terms.
Over the last few years Bingo Extra has been left in the shadow of it's more well known siblings. For example since July 2018 it's Community section has been left. Given that one of the articles is 'Things You Didn't Know About The Royal Family' it might be high time to update it. Mind you the "Every family has some secrets and so does the Royal family" ending does seem very prophetic following Prince Andrew's recent interview.
When we first reviewed the site in 2015 we said that "Bingo Extra looks a good site. When it launched a no deposit bonus was offered and was a nice introduction to the brand. We would like to see something similar return or more exclusives and bigger prizes". Fast forward a few years and same really still applies. With the arrival of Give Back Bingo into the fold it does actually feel that Bingo Extra is just that one extra too many. Worth a trip for the welcome offer but long term bingo players may prefer choosing Kitty or Lucky Pants.
