Iceland Bingo Review
High street stores and online bingo have rarely been the best of friends. Woolworths Bingo and Ann Summers bingo both fell by the wayside for different reasons but they're the only real brands who tried to get involved with online gaming. So it was a surprise to us when freezer food chain Iceland launched their own branded site - Iceland Bingo - and it's success since launching in 2013 has been an even bigger surprise.
Another big surprise was that Iceland Bingo chose to launch on the Dragonfish Network. This is the same stable as Katie's Bingo, Circus Bingo, Spy Bingo, Easter Bingo and many others. However, Iceland have utilised the stability of the network - and the many games and promotions it offers - and added to them by offering their own exclusives and unique offers. For whatever reason, it seems to work!
New players are currently welcomed to Iceland Bingo with a bonus bundle. A £10 deposit will get you a £20 Bingo Bonus plus 50 Bingo Tickets plus 50 Spins. Wagering terms apply and these are quite hefty (x6 for bingo and x99 for slots). Do check the site for the latest new player promo because it is frequently changed. Newbies can also enjoy three days of free no deposit bingo simply by registering as a new player at the site. Just head to the Quids In room when you've signed up.
Inside the Iceland Bingo lobby you'll have access to 75 and 90 ball bingo rooms as well as plenty of slots and side games. Whilst most of the bingo rooms are networked you'll find the aptly named "The Freezer", where players can play free bingo, enjoy special games and have the chance to win food vouchers. The room is only open between 6pm and 8pm every day but there's enough variety in the games to keep up interest.
Fluffy Favourites Bingo
Fans of Fluffy Favourites will also love to know that Iceland boasts a Fluffy Favourites Bingo room. Every weekday at 8pm you can play to win spins on Fluffy Too. Tickets cost 20p each or you can get them for free for every £20 wagered on the popular slots. Bargain hunters might want to check out another exclusive room at Iceland - the Pennies Make Pounds Room is open from midday to 3pm for 1p games.
One thing that really makes Iceland Bingo stand out in the Dragonfish Network is it's big promotions. Back in April 2017 it hosted a £15,000 holiday voucher prize game and even advertised it on TV. That's the actions of a big brand like Jackpotjoy or Wink. As of March 2019 Iceland Bingo were hosting a £3000 Virgin Holiday Vouchers promotion - the biggest promo currently on any Dragonfish brand. This isn't a new phenomena either as back in 2014 they were the sponsors of ITV's Real Deal!
Iceland Bingo's success may be because they have embraced social media. They have over 30,000 followers via their Facebook page - loads more than many other brands. They're worth following as they keep you up to date with the latest events on site as well as offering you the chance to win occasional prizes.
We have to say that we didn't think Iceland Bingo would be a success - but they've proven us completely wrong. Despite being part of a large network where many brands struggle, they've established themselves with strong offers and attractive exclusives. However, you will note that we still do not recommend the site. This is because Iceland Bingo reneged on their affiliate relationships so instead we will redirect you to a more worthy operation.
