Lollipop Bingo Review

Sugar was a popular theme for bingo brands back in 2015. In the same year Candy Shop and Cupcake launched so did Lollipop Bingo. Other sweet themed brands now include Sugar and Sweet Shop. At the time Lollipop was the 25th site to join the 15 Network powered by Jumpman. Today it's still a Jumpman powered brand and offers players a mix of bingo powered by Pragmatic Play, instant win games and slots including Megaways and Slingo. But is it any good? Whilst it's fair to say Lollipop doesn't suck we think there are a whole bunch of other Jumpman powered brands that are much more worthwhile.

Introducing Lollipop Bingo

Visitors to Lollipop Bingo are welcomed with a classily designed site. A young lady with what we'd say is a vintage style look is on hand to highlight the welcome offer, trophies and promotions. Lollipops are quite child appealing so to avoid any issues with The UKGC the only ones you see are within the logo and in the hand of the aforementioned lady. However because the lollipop isn't a major part of the site we do feel the brand is now a little detached from it's original plan (although the same can be said for a lot of white label sites). Still as with all sweets the good stuff is usually under the wrappers or in this case in the lobby! The lobby can be accessed on all devices including mobile, tablet and desktop. You don't need to download an app to play on Apple or Android devices.

Lollipop Bingo Welcome Offer

Join Lollipop Bingo as a new player and you'll receive a spin of the Mega Wheel when you deposit £10 or more. Register, login and make a deposit to choose whether you wish to take the bonus offer. Spinning the Mega Wheel gives you the chance to win up to 500 spins on slots like Starburst and Fluffy Favourites. On a spin you could also win Amazon vouchers or nothing at all. Wagering terms apply including a x65 requirement. Further spins of the Mega Wheel are available when you complete various levels or make deposit requirements. Note that this site does not offer any bingo bonuses. All wagering in the bingo rooms is cash only!

Lollipop Bingo Rooms

Login to the lobby area of Lollipop Bingo to find a selection of bingo rooms and instant win games. In March 2020 Jumpman closed their own rooms such as Lucky Stars and Pay Day Jackpot. These have now been replaced by Pragmatic Play's bingo games. This means the site can now offer 75 ball, 80 ball and 90 ball games in rooms such as Boombox, Stars N Stripes and The Jackpot Room. Tickets on average cost around 10p per game but we did find a few penny games. You will also be able to play Bingo Blast, a fast version of the 90 ball game that takes you straight to the action, plus Friday Fun which is Jumpman's only exclusive bingo room.

Lollipop Bingo Promotions

When they first launched Lollipop aimed to stand out from the rest of the brands on the 15 Network by offering exclusives. Lucky Licker and Birthday Buns were both prize draws whilst Charity Chews was a charity fund raising game. Finally they used to host a Lucky Loot leaderboard competition which had pretty cool prizes up for grabs. Sadly all these have been sucked dry and discarded like a used lollipop stick. Instead players can enjoy the network promotions that are available. These network promotions include CashDrop which is a free to play game for depositors. Other promos include Happy Hours and Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. The latter rewards the player with the highest slot win with a £50 Just Eat Voucher. The Lollipop Bingo promotions page definitely needs more bingo promos such as free games for newbies.

Our Verdict

Lollipop Bingo started life with lots of great intentions. Whilst the platform was limitating at least there were cool exclusives. These helped give the brand an indentity. Losing things like Lucky Licker and Lucky Loot dilutes the offering and this is enhanced with a huge loss in the bingo rooms department. If you do decide to check out Lollipop then you do at least have the Mega Wheel welcome offer, trophies for regular play and a good selection of slots. For us this isn't enough to recommend Lollipop for bingo - even more so as the Pragmatic Play set-up works better at the likes of Heart and PlayOJO. If you like slots then there are numerous options but for bingo choose a site where the rooms are active and you have plenty of choice in respect to games. All players should be aware that all withdrawals incur a £2.50 admin fee.
