When we first wrote our review on Mirror Bingo they were a standalone site under the Cashcade umbrella. In 2013 they became part of a network of sites before making a change in 2014 to join the Virtue Fusion Network. In our first review we posed said that "bingo was an important weapon during the newspaper circulation battles in the 80s, so are Mirror Bingo doing enough to take on The Sun Bingo and the rest of the online bingo operators?". That question still stands!

The move from the Cashcade/Cassava platform to Virtue Fusion has given Mirror Bingo players a wider array of games, jackpots and slots. The bingo rooms include Red Carpet, Pennies From Heaven and Multi Balls. There are also the TV themed rooms of Deal Or No Deal and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. As far as we're aware none of these rooms are exclusive to Mirror Bingo. The site does offer 75, 80 and 90 ball games and all budgets are catered for!
Big Top Tombola
In the slots department there's the usual Big Top Tombola, Clover Rollover, Adventures In Wonderland and even Fluffy Favourites. In fairness most bingo sites, no matter what platform they use, seem to have very similar options when it comes to games. That's a shame (although not Mirror Bingo's fault) as it takes away from the uniqueness of the individual brands.
One of the big issues we had with Mirror Bingo when it used the Cashcade platform was that it only had the sporadic good offer to keep player interest. This came in the form of an Andy Capp scratchcard, free bingo weeks or the occasional tournament. Initially the platform move didn't yield any improvements but things have got better.
Full House Scratchcard
On Virtue Fusion, players do get the usual network offers of Bingo Linx Jackpots, big money winners weekends and bargain bingo nights. In addition Mirror Bingo do offer occasional prize draws, happy hours with cheap games and an exclusive The Mirror Full House scratchcard. This is available each day you wager at least £1.
As well as changing platform, Mirror Bingo have canned their social media presence too. This is a bit of a surprise although perhaps it's unneeded given that the brand has multiple Facebook accounts including one for celebs (which is linked from the bingo site).
The Sun vs The Mirror
We were pleased when Mirror Bingo changed to Virtue Fusion as it could then really give it's arch-rival, The Sun Bingo, a run for it's money. Sadly The Mirror haven't done enough for our liking to become a market leader. Ironically the gap between the two brands is perhaps nearer simply because The Sun chose to move from Gamesys to Virtue Fusion. The gap has narrowed because The Sun have gone backwards.
This isn't to say you should avoid Mirror Bingo. It offers good games on a decent platform. However if it was our time and money then we'd seek out the likes of Gala, Mecca, William Hill etc that all offer the same as Mirror, but a lot more in addition!
