Monkey Bingo Review
Monkey Bingo - No Wagering
Back in November 2014 there was yet another new addition to the expanding mini network from Costa Bingo. The next brand to join Treasure, Bingola, Angry, Rio and Wish in the Cassava/Dragonfish powered group was Monkey Bingo. Whilst this brand is aping the promotions of it's sister sites we felt that it had a lot more appeal.
Monkey Bingo looks great for a bingo site and the developers have had a lot of fun putting it together. Out goes the usual "new player", "free bingo" and "free bingo" names and in come things like "new monkey", "free bananas" and "orango offers". The star of the site was a very smiley monkey called Marvin but he's long since been kicked in to touch thanks to UKGC regulations.
New players are currently offered free bingo tickets on first deposit. Details of the current offer are shown above. As usual terms and conditions apply when it comes to wagering and bonus money. For more bonuses and promotions then you'll need to visit Monkey Bingo.
As well as 75 and 90 ball bingo rooms which offer a variety of games, including freebies and daily jackpots. All are aptly named and these include Monkey Money, Wonga Waterfall, Primate Pick and The Lion's Share. Unfortunately for the now defunct Marvin these are all networked games and not unique to his little jungle in the bigger bingo world. Still they sound fun!
As with all new sites from the Costa Bingo camp opening promotions are limited. So what we have available at the moment is the £500 Coconut Cash and The Big Monkey. The former is the replacement of the old £5000 sliding jackpot game which is available for all depositors and which is ubiquitous on all new sites from this camp. The same can be said for 1p Nuts which is a mix of "jungle games" that play throughout the day for as little as 1p a bingo card.
Gone Too Ape
Like it's sister sites there's a selection of top slots to play on including Millionaire Genie and Fluffy Favourites. Given the theme of the site we'd like to see Lion Dance and Amazon World. Disappointingly there's no monkey or ape themed slots - which we was a bit of a surprise. Sadly Monkey Bingo has few surprises and whilst it looks fabulous it's aping it's sister sites too much.
When we first reviewed Monkey Bingo we commented that "if a Fox can make it's way to the top of the bingo tree then maybe Marvin has an exciting future ahead". Unfortunately Marvin has gone and Monkey hasn't climbed far up the bingo tree. The best we can say is that it's on a decent platform and the new welcome offer is interesting.
