Paddy Power Bingo Review
Paddy Power Bingo has been around for a few years now and like many of it's bookmaker rivals it utilises the Playtech platform, powered by Virtue Fusion. However Paddy Power do like to put their quirkiness on things and their bingo channel doesn't escape this trait. For example, they must be the only bingo brand that can get away with creating a lucky pooping pigeon! However what lies beneath all this irreverence and is it worth visiting Paddy Power to play bingo?
Paddy Power Bingo welcomes new players with a generous 500% welcome bonus. Register and deposit £5 within 48 hours of joining to receive a £25 bonus. Wagering terms apply. Although there's not a no deposit bonus on offer for new players, there is a newbie room that offers free bingo games. This becomes accessible once you've wagered just £1 on bingo. The room is only open for 10 days from the day you register so the sooner you spend that £1 the more time you'll have to play freebies.
Like Sky, Bet365, William Hill and Ladbrokes, there's a good selection of bingo games to enjoy at Paddy Power. These include the traditional 75 and 90 ball games as well as themed rooms such as Deal Or No Deal Bingo, Rainbow Riches and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Paddy Power also boasts a handful of exclusive rooms so that you know you're not always going to be playing networked games.
Free Daily Scratchcard
Paddy Power Bingo offers players a number of exciting promotions, although in fairness we find they're not always offering prizes like Bet365 or William Hill. However you will find a free Paddy's Angels scratchcard which is available each day you wager £5, free bingo in the Star Rewards Room every weekday (once you've qualified), and a chance to win Star Points by being Paddy's Roomie Of The Week.
You can also earn Star Point rewards when you play at Paddy Power Bingo. There are currently four VIP levels, White, Silver, Gold and Supernova and you can move up the levels once you have collected enough points. At the beginner level you earn 50 Star Points per £10 play on Bingo and side games and 2.5 points per £10 Casino play. To move up to the Silver Star level you need to collect 2,000 points (wager £400).
Bingo On The Move
As well as the bingo you'll also find a good selection of slots plus access to Paddy Power's other channels including poker, casino, games and sportsbook. You can access slots and bingo via mobile or tablet and there's an app to download too. If you follow Paddy Power Bingo via Facebook then there are usually opportunities to win bonuses - although their page hasn't been updated for a few weeks. Mind their Twitter page has had no new tweets for over a year.
Whilst Paddy Power Bingo has plenty going for it, this does seem to be due to what the network provides rather than the brand. This hasn't always been the case as we've seen some good promos from Paddy Power in the past (Win A New York Shopping Spree). For whatever reason things seem to have quietened down on their bingo channel. The Lucky Pigeon adverts were a lot of fun and it'd be a shame for the bingo world to lose that quirkiness. Overall Paddy Power offer a good bingo site for players but we'd like to see a bit more just to be convinced that they're not just letting it drift.
