Redbus Bingo Review
Redbus Bingo, a London bus themed brand, is a sister site of Tasty, Wink and Posh. It was one of the original members of the Joy Of Bingo network and operates on the Dragonfish platform. Redbus, along with it's sister sites, were taken over by 888 a few years back and since then it's not been the most comfortable of rides for the brand. Whilst it still offers fabulous bingo games and top slots it's been left in the back seat whilst Wink and 888 Ladies have taken centre stage. Introducing Redbus Bingo
When it first arrived Redbus Bingo was a stylish looking site. A red bus (naturally) featured and offers and games filled it up. To go with the red bus theme there's a back drop of a London skyline. On one side you have The Tower Of London whilst on the other you'll see Tower Bridge, The London Eye and Big Ben. Today the bus is now a little bit shabby as it's not being given much attention. White spaces have appeared as old promos and non-UKGC approved content has been removed That said we still love the bus design and the ticket logo. No app is needed to play at Redbus and players can enjoy all games via mobile, tablet and desktop.
Redbus Bingo Welcome Bonus
New players to Redbus Bingo can pick up a bingo bonus. Register, login and deposit £10 to have £35 to play (250% deposit bonus). Note that Dragonfish have recently tightened up their registration process and you will be required to enter a code sent to your mobile number. Back in the day we'd say that Redbus was one of the "go to" places for free bingo games and it even boasted a £100 free cash prize game every evening at 9.15pm. Redbus Bingo uses a modern lobby area which means it's less clunky than say Wink or Moon. However it's also not the easiest system. Bingo games can be found under Main, Classic, Specials, Jackpots, Free Treats and Easy Access. These aren't the most self explanatory and we can't understand why terms like 90 ball, 75 ball and 52 ball can't be used instead? We also can't understand why the same images are used to represent each room. Overall we like the lobby but not the execution. Once you've figured out what you can play here then you will be able to enjoy a variety of games. Ticket prices start at 1p and most games are typically 5p to 10p a ticket.
Redbus Bingo Slots
Slots are part of the make-up at Redbus Bingo and these are organised under various tabs such as trendy, drops and wins, megaways, daily jackpots, jackpots and instants. Under the latter you will find Slingo games! There's also a Casino tab but this only hosts one game - Dream Catcher Live. Back to the slots and the main games include Enchanted Prince, Bonanza, Cleopatra, Fishin Fenzy, Starburst, 99 Time and Lost Island. Some games are 'real money only' and that means that any bonuses you've accrued can't be used on them. Redbus Bingo Promotions
Promotions wise things have changed considerably at Redbus! They did used to run a lot of exclusives, but nowadays all their big games and offers are networked with either the likes of Tasty, Posh and Bingo Street or every other brand on the Dragonfish platform. The values are less too and the days of the JoyPot are well and truly behind us. Social media unfortunately has also left the Redbus journey, which is disappointing. In 2015 they did trial a My Redbus Loyalty Plan but we're not sure if that's still running. On the plus side depositors can still collect a bonus when funding their accounts thanks to the Wheel Of Wins and Rewarding Wins.
Our Verdict
Redbus Bingo sadly has fallen into the shadows cast by it's bigger sisters of Wink and 888 Ladies. Considering back in the day there were TV ads and loads of exclusives offered to Redbus players, it's disappointing to have essentially "just another" Dragonfish powered site. We had hoped that back in 2017 we'd see Redbus overhauled and back in action to take bingo players on magical mystery tour? Unfortunately UKGC rules probably put any plans for Redbus on the back burner. That said, there's no reason not to board this bingo bus. It still offers free games including no deposit bingo for new players. There's also a great selection of bingo and slots. Finally Redbus remains one of the few Dragonfish powered brands that offers reload bonuses. Just be aware of those wagering terms when accepting bonus offers.
