mFortune Bingo Review
Mobile bingo is increasing in popularity and many of the big brands are battling to make sure they're on board the bandwagon. However, one brand have been at the forefront of mobile gaming for sometime - and they now have a bingo product that offers jackpots and weekly prizes.
mFortune Bingo is played on your mobile phone or tablet - however there is an option to play online too but you still need a mobile to get involved. To get started you visit mFortune and enter your country code and mobile. In return you'll receive a text and a link explaining how to add the app. Once downloaded you can play for free in demo mode or register an account to start playing for real. On completion of your registration you'll get £5 free with no deposit required. In addition all new players get a 100% welcome bonus too.
A Treasure Trove Of Bingo Rooms
As you're playing bingo by mobile you can also pay via your phone bill. Just select your chosen payment option via the lobby. Our advice is keep tabs of your spending as you don't want to be faced with a hefty bill at the end of the month. Other depositing options including Ukash and debit card.
There are a number of different bingo rooms to choose from at mFortune Bingo. These include Diamond, Pearl, Sapphire and Emerald. Each is a 90 ball room and there's usually 30/40 players online at any one time. Full house jackpots when we visited were a reasonable £20 so you're not playing for peanuts. Progressive jackpots are also available to be won!
We Need More Pizazz
Game cards cost around 10p/25p depending which room you choose to play in. Gameplay is smooth although you do have to have your mobile in the landscape position. You need to double tap the cards or chat to make them bigger - which is ok.
One thing that we'd love to see is a bit more pizazz in the game play. There are no bingo calls and it's very quick to miss who has won on one line, two lines and a full house. The cards also show x to go for the full house so you're not always sure how close to winning one line or two lines you may be!
Play On Dekstop
Overall we're quite impressed with mFortune Bingo. The free no deposit bonus is very useful to see whether the game play suits you although you can still play on PC/laptop if mobile bingo isn't for you. One other aspect of mFortune we like is that whilst you can play side games/slots these are not overly in your face as you sometimes find with mainstream bingo apps.
Note that you will receive text messages from mFortune once you've signed up. You can stop them but annoyingly you have to phone them to request it. We'd like to see an option in the settings so that we can choose if we wish to receive messages and their frequency.
