Bingo Ballroom Review
This is a real blast from the past! Bingo Ballroom was one of the first brands we can remember and they possibly were one of the first on the Dragonfish Network. The brand seemed to vanish for a while but it's now back with a makeover and under the 888 Holdings umbrella. Bingo Ballroom is now a more colourful affair and features plenty of glitter balls. It offers 75 and 90 ball bingo games as well as top slots. But is this golden oldie worth a ten from Len?
Introducing Bingo Ballroom
Retro is perhaps the best description of the current Bingo Ballroom website. In dance terms it's more Waltz than Samba! It's been designed for old browsers and therefore all the information is confined to a narrow band. Latest winners and progressive jackpots dominate the homepage whilst there's nothing to let you know about the latest bingo games or featured slots. You can play Bingo Ballroom on all devices including mobile, tablet and desktop. You don't need to download any apps to enjoy Ballroom on your handheld devices. Just login to the site using your browser.
Bingo Ballroom Welcome Offer
New players to Bingo Ballroom are offered a reasonable welcome package considering this is a Dragonfish Network site. On offer is a 300% bonus that is split between bingo and slots. Register, login and make a minimum deposit of just £5 to receive a 200% bingo bonus with a x4 wagering condition (bonus + deposit) and a 100% gaming bonus which comes with a x80 wagering condition. Dragonfish have recently updated their wagering terms so do be careful when joining new sites - we were surprised to see the gaming term so high!
As a new Bingo Ballroom player you can enjoy some no deposit bingo. Register and login to access the Daily Doozey for three days after joining. Inside this free bingo room you'll be able to play 75 ball games for the chance to win bonus prizes. These bonuses will attract wagering terms. Other free bingo rooms are available but you'll need to be a regular depositor to qualify for these particular games. Free bingo rooms include Quids In, On The House and Freebie.
Bingo Ballroom Promotions
Take to the floor and inside the Bingo Ballroom lobby you'll find 75 ball and 90 ball games. These are joined by 52 ball bingo. Tickets for most games are usually around 5p or 10p but there are penny games and the occasional more expensive option. Pre-buy is available on most of the jackpot games that you can get involved with. These jackpot games include The Big £10K which is a Dragonfish loyalty promotion. It's an invite only game with tickets being awarded to qualifying depositors. It's worth playing as everyone's a winner. The Big £10K plays at 10pm on the 10th of every month.
Promotions wise you'll get the usual Dragonfish offers including Free Bingo Rooms, Mystery Jackpots, Late Night Show, Happy Hour and Wow Spins Room. The latter is open Sunday to Thursday and gives you the opportunity to win up to 100 spins for a full house. You won't find any unique promos though and there's no social media connections here either. On the plus side there's a good range of slots at Bingo Ballroom including Millionaire Genie, Fluffy Favourites, Wizard Of Oz and Starburst. Slingo instant win games and Megaways titles are available but casino games and live casino options are limited.
We're not sure if 'Ballroom is worth a ten from Len. In fact we'd be hard pushed to give it the fabled seven. The set up is good simply because it's on Dragonfish and there's nothing inherently wrong but the problem here is that it's not standing out from the crowd. Player terms are reasonable and we like the range of responsible gambling tools. These tools include deposit limits, time notifications and self exclusion. If you choose to exclude yourself from Bingo Ballroom then you can also opt to be excluded from all Dragonfish brands.
There are good pro points to consider when looking at Bingo Ballroom. It is on a popular platform and there are plenty of great bingo rooms to visit. The welcome bonus is reasonable and it's nice to see players can get a bonus with a minimum £5 deposit. Just watch out for the wagering terms on the games bonus. However if you compare Bingo Ballroom to the likes of Bounce, Bubble Bonus and Costa - all from similar backgrounds and all powered by Dragonfish - then 'Ballroom falls a little flat. Consider also that Wink Bingo is a sister site and in our view that would be the better option.
