Bingo Godz Review
Bingo Godz launched in 2014 as the brainchild of Michael Buckley, Patrick Southon, Simon Collins and Noel Rowse. They were the people who set up the Cashcade bingo network, of which, Foxy Bingo is their best known progeny. At the time of launch we wrote that Godz "could be as big as Foxy giving the credentials of the owners". However, despite a big money TV campaign, this site never quite made it to those heights.
The good news is that Bingo Godz still exists, although it's now on the Bede Gaming platorm and not in the hands of it's original owners. In truth the early days of Godz were fraught with problems and players didn't really take to the new concept of playing their way through a bingo universe.
Free Bingo For Depositors
Nowadays Godz is much more slots orientated and bingo is almost secondary. New players are welcomed with a 200% first deposit bonus up to £100. This comes with a x4 wagering term. There's free bingo to enjoy too - depositors can access the Cloudy Column at selected times for 14 days after making a minimum £10 deposit.
Away from the freebies there's 75 ball, 90 ball and speed bingo rooms. The latter is only open at selected times whilst the remainder are only available from 9am to midnight. Night owls don't have any bingo to play after the witching hour. That kind of tells you just how quiet things are bingo wise at this site.
Fortunately there are loads of slots and instants to play instead. Baywatch, Starburst, King Kong Cash, Cleopatra, Golden Goddess, Rainbow Riches, The Pig Wizard and Planet Of The Apes are just some of the many options available. Live table games and a handful of instants, including Grabba Dabba Dough are also on site.
Casino depositors are also currently (November 2017) offered a daily bonus. Deposit £20 to receive a £10 games bonus. Wagering terms apply and these are set at x50. Details on Bingo Godz are quite limited and there's no promotions page. They do have a Facebook page that keeps players informed of the latest games and jackpots though.
It's a long time since Bingo Godz launched and had the likes of Brian Blessed involved with them! In truth we think they should have hit dizzier heights than they have. It just goes to show that there's no guarantees with online gambling - even if you throw tonnes of money at it.
Bingo Godz is still worth a look, but like a lot of other sites it's now dominated by slots. The limited promotions and jackpot games are disappointing. We'd love to see improvements in the bingo department but suspect that they may not be forthcoming soon.
