Dazzle Bingo Review
Dazzle Bingo launched in 2018 as a third addition to the Katie's and Zoe's stable. Although it didn't adopt a girl's name in it's brand it did have it's own character - Anna Kelly - as a figurehead. Anna Kelly moved aside in favour of Miss Rory, "The North East’s undisputed Queen of Comedy" who has also now left the building. Another difference between Dazzle and it's sisters was that it chose to launch on the Dragonfish Real Money Network. This means that there are no wagering terms and player wins/bonuses are all paid in cash. More recently the brand has undergone a much needed makeover but does it dazzle us and will it dazzle you?
Introducing Dazzle Bingo
Miss Rory is one of the most recognisable and successful drag queens in the North East and added some much needed razzle and dazzle to the Dazzle Bingo brand. Unfortunately in 2024, Miss Rory has gone and everything seems just a little more flat. Instead we have the generic young lady looking very happy about something, a few random bingo balls and various bingo room and slot features. In fairness we do like the layout and the mix of blue and bokeh light images. Unusually for any bingo brand, Dazzle actually highlights that it's adverts have featured on Hits Radio, Greatest Hits Radio and Heat Radio. We do wonder whether those ads ran when Miss Rory was front and centre at Dazzle?
Dazzle Bingo Welcome Bonus
New players to Dazzle Bingo are offered a welcome package consisting of 100 bingo tickets and 10 free spins. Register, login and make a deposit of £10 to qualify for the bingo tickets. To get the spins you'll need to wager at least £5. Note that the bingo tickets can only be used in the Kaching bingo roon whilst the spins can only be used on Irish Luck. Free Dazzle Bingo
Unfortunately you can't try Dazzle Bingo for free and without making a deposit. There is a Free4U room which can be found under the 'Free' tab in the lobby area. We think that this game runs daily at 4pm and offers £4 pots but all prizes are paid in cash. However to access this room you need to be a funded player. Once funded though there's no restrictions with respect to getting tickets for the free game. In the past traditional Dragonfish brands offered free no deposit bingo in The Daily Doozey but this has been dropped. In fact if you're seeking free bingo, no deposit bingo or a newbie room it's probably safer to assume that there's nothing to write home about at Dazzle (or any other Dragonfish/Broadway Gaming brand).
Dazzle Bingo Rooms
Inside the Dazzle Bingo lobby you'll find a handful of bingo rooms including the aforementioned Free4U. Under the bingo tab you'll find Guaranteed Jackpots, Gobsmacked, Free, Ace Club and On The Go. The latter is where you'll find the main active rooms - Fun In 90 and the 75 ball Number 10. If you enjoy 52 ball games then Hit 52 is the room for you. All other rooms are jackpot rooms such as Mystery Jackpots and Gobsmacked where you can win spins. Tickets cost from 1p but usually you'll expect to spend 5p or 10p a ticket depending on your room of choice. Some pre-buys are available but they are limited. In our view the lobby area is quite clunky and despite having several upgrades still fails to be on par with Virtue Fusion or Pragmatic Play.
Dazzle Bingo Slots
Slots feature at Katie's and there are well over 300 different games to play at Katie's Bingo. These include Starburst, Millionaire Genie, Fluffy Favourites, Sugar Train, Fluffy Too, Chuzzle, Spinata Grande, Shaman's Dream, Piggy Payout and more. On top of that there's also plenty of other titles from the likes of Pariplay, Eyecon and Net Entertainment. More recently Slingo games have been added to the Dragonfish platform although we think the lobby area could be greatly improved to make the slots more accessible. Daily jackpots, Megaways and progressives could be better sign posted in our view.
Dazzle Bingo Promotions
Promotions are quite limited on the Real Money Network and that's a frustration. There did used to be the Ace Club which hosted the £10,000 monthly jackpot that occurred on the 10th of every month across all Dragonfish powered brand. However it's unclear if this is still available - free games like £1000 Monday and £250 Sunday - have also gone missing in action. Shared exclusive rooms such as Mocktail Party and Fab 50 give a bit of added interest to Dazzle when compared to other Real Money Network brands. These rooms are shared with the likes of Quizingo, Zoe's Bingo and Katie's Bingo. However we don't know whether these exclusive rooms remain active or not.
Our Verdict
Dazzle Bingo strikes us as one of those sites that should be doing a lot better. We quite like the makeover that it has had and the addition of Miss Rory gave it much needed character. However now it has no character and it's all a bit lack lustre. The no wagering aspect of Dazzle was a novelty but it's fair to say that the Real Money Network from Dragonfish (now Broadway Gaming) has been a huge white elephant. Frustratingly - and this applies to all former Dragonfish Bingo brands - Dazzle just doesn't shine. The number of rooms has decreased, the jackpots are smaller and the free games have gone. Put them into the mixer and what you get is less players. If you want some razzle dazzle in your bingo life then you're not going to get it here. Head to the likes of Buzz, PlayOJO, Mecca and Gala.
