Dino Bingo Review
Way back in 2015 we told you about the arrival of Giant Bingo on the Ignite Network - the same group of sites that's headed up by Costa Bingo and that uses the Dragonfish platform. We expected that Giant wouldn't be the only new arrival for the group and we weren't wrong. It took just a couple of months for Giant to lose it's new kid status. Dino Bingo launched as a place where you can play for Jurassic Jackpots, big wins, fun promotions and crazy dinosaur delights!
Introducing Dino Bingo
Unsurprisingly Dino Bingo launched with a dinosaur theme! They were evident in the site's logo and homepage background just in case you didn't get the theme memo. Unfortunately many of the inhabitants of this particular bingo site were made extinct because they looked too cuddly and appealed to children. We guess a site full of more realistic looking T-Rex's ripping open prey would be less appealing to kids, but equally less appealing to people genuinely interested in playing bingo.
Dino Bingo Welcome Offer
New players at Dino Bingo are offered an exciting first deposit bonus. Register, login and then deposit £10 to receive 120 free bingo tickets. These free bingo tickets can only be used in selected rooms: Ticket To Ride (75), Just The Ticket (75), Golden Ticket (90) and Choo Choo Ticket (5 Line). The rooms are open from 10am to midnight daily and winnings are paid as real cash. No wagering terms apply which is great news if you're not a fan of bonuses which require extra play before you can withdraw winnings. Further free tickets are offered on your second and third deposits at Dino Bingo.
Dino does offer a no deposit bonus for newbies too! Register, login and then head to The Bingo Academy. This is a shared free bingo room that's open for two days after registration. The room is also open for a further five days after your first deposit - provided you make it within the first 48 hours of joining. Every 15 minutes you can play a 90 ball real cash game. Play for 25p for 1L, 50p for 2L and £1 for the full house. As the prizes are real money you can withdraw them without worrying about wagering terms.
Dino Bingo Promotions
Inside the bingo lobby you will find 90 ball, 75 ball, 5 Line and 52 ball rooms. These rooms are reasonably busy and offer decent prizes and plenty of cheap games. Pre-buy is available on selected games but these always tend to be jackpot related. Progressive jackpots are available in selected rooms. Most days you'll find a Jurassic Jackpot to play. These include Stego's Stash, Rubble Riches and Free Spin Fossils. One game you won't want to miss is Smoking Hot. It's free for qualifying depositors and plays every Sunday at 9pm.
Promotions at Dino are limited mainly to the welcome offer, jackpots and free bingo games. These are joined by 1P Cash-osaurus which gives you the chance to win cash prizes playing penny bingo. Slots don't get a high billing at Dino but they are available should you wish to take them for a spin. Top games include Fluffy Favourites, Starburst and Slingo. The majority of games can be played on mobile, tablet and desktop. No app is required to access Dino on handheld devices.
Dino is a decent enough site with free bingo, an attractive welcome bonus, no wagering terms and plenty of games. However there's probably not a lot here players haven't seen before! Whilst Ignite aren't quite up to 15 Network levels of repetition, the additional sites to their stable don't quite cut the mustard in the excitement stakes. Dino has avoided becoming extinct but it does feel like a dinosaur in terms of originality and uniqueness. The loss of the £5/£10 no deposit bonus in 2017 deflated the site's stature although at least The Bingo Academy softens the blow.
Back in 2018 we predicted that Costa and Sing would take centre stage at the expense of brands like Dino. This has come true especially since 888 purchased the group from Ignite. If you're looking for a site that will offer regular promotions and prize games then Dino isn't for you. However if you like wager free bingo and a steady platform for games then it's worth a look. We'd love to see more game variants, bigger prizes and more promotions but that will come down to network decisions.
