Kitty Bingo Review
In May 2012 the slots and casino site Spin And Win, owned by Daub Alderney, added a bingo channel to their service. However just five months later, that bingo channel was closed and a new site and brand established - Kitty Bingo. Using proprietary software it offers players access to 75 and 90 ball games as well as a bundle of top slots. This set up makes Kitty stand out from the crowd but will you be feline like playing there after our review?
The Kitty Bingo is bright and colourful although it's cartoon style has been dumbed down in recent years due to UKGC guidelines. As you'd expect by the name there are plenty of cats and kittens featured. During 2019 the site was given a bit of a makeover and to be honest we're not too keen on some of the design. The promotional graphics with white backgrounds look washed out and drain the colour and life from the site. The cats are cute though - provided you like cats!
New players to Kitty Bingo used to be invited to a Newbie Room for 7 days of free bingo after registration but we think that this has now closed. Instead new players who become depositors are offered a 300% bonus (£10 to £50) plus 50 bonus spins. These bonus spins are awarded at the rate of 10 per day for five days. These spins can only used on exclusive slots such as Dinky Dinos, Wired Birds, Jazz Cat, Amazing Heroes, Mermaids Treasure, Gladiator Gold, Galaxy Of Riches, Winbledon, Jungle Fever and Lucky Leprechaun.
Kitty are also happy to offer their players a second and third deposit bonus. Choose either a 100% bingo bonus or 50% slots bonus for the second deposit then choose either a 150% bingo bonus or 75% slots bonus for the third. We like the fact that you can choose your bonus and it's nice to see a bingo orientated welcome offer. Further deposit bonuses can be collected via the Daily Prize Wheel. Wagering terms apply to all bonuses and these are x4 (deposit + bonus) for bingo and x25 for games. This latter term is quite reasonable when compared to other bingo brands.
Login to Kitty Bingo to find a small selection of 75 and 90 ball games. The main rooms include the Penny Room, Kitty 75, Kitty 90 and Feline 5. These are joined by a couple of jackpot games. Before we go on to them frustratingly the main rooms aren't well populated and this may be an issue for newbies looking for action and big prizes. There's also no free bingo which means that you can't trial the bingo rooms without first making a deposit. Thankfully there is a Rewards Room for regular players that offers the chance to win a bonus in a daily free game.
One thing that we liked about Kitty Bingo was it's daily specials. These included Weekly Shop, a Tuesday game that offered a £100 voucher prize, No Lose Win-Win Wednesday and The Big Dabber game on a Saturday. These seem to all have been dropped. At time of writing the jackpot games are a £100 daily game, £1000 weekly game and a £10,000 Must Go game. The latter plays on the last day of every month and tickets cost £1. Pre-buy is available for all jackpot games.
Whilst Kitty has dropped some offers, it has replaced them too. Kitty Collector, originally known as Catford Square, is a board game that can be played daily by qualifying players. Players must have wagered £2 or more within the past 7 days to take part for the chance to win bonuses. Additionally there's £1000 to be won every month in a depositor's draw. Earn one entry for every £25 added to your account.
We like Kitty Bingo because it's an alternative to the usual Virtue Fusion and Dragonfish platforms. However recent changes don't seem to have benefitted the brand. The loss of free bingo for newbies and the jackpot games are noticeable. On the plus side we do like the welcome offer and reload bonuses via the Daily Prize Wheel. The Kitty Collector (Catford Square game) is also a nice bonus as is the depositor's prize draw. Hopefully we will see more improvements for Kitty during 2020.
