Moon Bingo Review
Moon Bingo launched in 2010 with a dancing spacewomen on the moon, free bingo and other fabulous features. Overtime it's changed from a space theme to one with an astrological slant but these days Moon looks to have embraced it's planetary origins. Powered by Dragonfish, Moon is the flagship brand of a stable of sites that includes Polo and Robin Hood. It describes itself as the "best online bingo experience in the universe". This experience includes a mixture of rooms, free games and online slots.
As mentioned above Moon Bingo has chopped and changed it's look a number of times. Today visitors to the site will be greeted by a bizarre scene. There's a castle in the clouds, a hot air balloon with "as seen on TV" on it and bingo balls with wings. A night sky shows the moon. What it all means we do not know, but it's a far cry from the site's original design of ladies in spacesuits! Anyway Moon Bingo is accessible to all players on desktop, mobile and tablet. No apps are required to download - just point your device's browser to the site.
Moon Bingo Welcome Offer
New players to Moon Bingo are welcomed with a first deposit bingo bonus and spins bonus. Register, login and deposit £10 to receive a 200% bonus up to £100. In addition you will receive 20 spins on the Starburst slot. Any wins from these spins will be paid out as a games bonus. Wagering terms apply and these are x4 (bonus + deposit) for bingo and x85 for the wins from the spins. These are quite hefty wagering terms and some of the highest on the Dragonfish Network.
As with other Dragonfish sites within the same group, Moon Bingo does offer new players free bingo games. Register with Moon Bingo as a newbie then login to access The Biggie, a free bingo room that is open for 3 days without deposit. To access the room again you'll need to make a £10 single deposit. Any wins generated within this room will be paid as a bonus and therefore wagering terms apply. Additional free rooms - The Supreme, The Ultra and The Grand are also available but require deposits of up to £50 for access. The prizes on offer range from £50 to £500.
Moon Bingo Promotions
The Moon Bingo lobby does look a little bit dated but it does still give you access to a number of bingo rooms. Login for 52, 75 and 90 ball games in rooms such as Moonalicious, Penny Express, Gimme More and Suit Up. The latter is a 52 ball game that uses playing cards instead of bingo numbers. Another 52 ball game that's available is Bingo Roulette and this is joined by jackpot games such as Bingo X Multiplier and Self Made Millionaire. This big money game is the last on Dragonfish brands that give you the chance to win a million. The only downside is that it's a sliding jackpot game that's very hard to win. In fact there's never been a winner of the headline jackpot.
Player promotions tend to be quite limited on Moon Bingo. These days it's very rare to see prize giveaways or games outside the usual roster. There is the Moon Daily Spin which gives you the chance to win a bonus each day. Login and spin the wheel to see if you've won a bingo bonus, free spins or - as it always seems to be - loyalty coins. Occasionally you might be awarded vouchers for bingo tickets or slot spins. Whilst these offers are good just be aware of the wagering terms. Other jackpot games to checkout at Moon include Up to £777, Daily Mystery Jackpots and The 1p Daily Jackpot.
As well as out of this world bingo at Moon you'll also find some of the best slots. Popular slots include Stampede, Beat The Bobbies, Fluffy Favourites, Asgardian Stones, Ozzy Osbourne, Pets Go Wild and Break da Bank Again. The slots section isn't the easiest to navigate and Moon would benefit from an upgrade. Other Dragonfish sites such as Chit Chat Bingo have had this improvement and it does make the slots section infinitely better. One feature we do like though is the random game generator. It's perfect for picking a slot when you're not too sure which to play.
When we first wrote about Moon Bingo we described it as a "steady brand on a solid bingo platform". We also compared it to other sites that use Dragonfish such as Wink and Costa. In our view Moon has dropped off the pace in part because Dragonfish hasn't advanced it's offering like Playtech. The good news is that they're still active with their social media community on Facebook at least plus we do like the daily bonus wheel. However the wagering terms are quite hefty so do keep that in mind when accepting bonuses.
