Nutty Bingo Review
Nutty Bingo launched in 2012 on the Dragonfish platform. They arrived with a bit of a flourish by offering new players a free gift plus bonus on an initial £10 deposit. They also produced one of the worst bingo adverts ever! It featured an over enthusiastic woman extolling the virtues of Nutty and completing the piece with a "go on" and a thumbs up. So, are bingo players still going nutty for Nutty a few years on?
Nutty Bingo is a very colourful looking site that offers a warm welcome to bingo players. A lady in a multi-coloured wig features on the front page and visitors are welcomed to "the nuthouse". We love the look actually, especially the the mix of purple and orange. It just goes to show that you can still give a brand character and interest even after The UKGC fun police have removed anything and everything.
New players to Nutty Bingo are offered a £20 bingo bonus plus 20 spins on Aloha Cluster Pays with a deposit of £10. Wagering terms apply and these are x4 for bingo and x80 for games. The latter is hefty, although it has dropped in recent times (January 2020 to April 2020). Even so players should familiarise themselves with the full details that are on Nutty. Sadly there are now no extra gifts like scarves, bonuses, vouchers or Bingoport points for new players. We wonder how many people actually claimed or received a Nutty Bingo scarf?
You can try Nutty Bingo for free and without making a deposit either. Register and login to the site and access The Daily Doozey. This free bingo room should be open for 72 hours after registration for a series of games. When we visited Nutty Bingo in January 2020 we found that the free room was playing up. The good news is that it's now working properly and newbies can enjoy their three days of free bingo. Additionally there are other free bingo rooms to enjoy once you've decided to become a depositing player.
Login to the Nutty Bingo site and you will find a handful of bingo rooms including The Daily Doozey. Nutty Bingo offers 75 ball and 90 ball bingo as well as 52 ball games. When we checked in with Nutty in January 2020 we said the lobby was clunky and could do with a makeover. Well as of April 2020 it has had a makeover and the lobby area is now much smarter and easier to transit between bingo, slots, offers and other areas of the site. Under the bingo tab you'll find Daily Jackpots, 75 Ball, 90 Ball, Specials, Invite Only and All. The 75 and 90 ball tabs are where you'll find the main active rooms - High 5, Chatterbox and 90's Extreme.
All other rooms are jackpot rooms such as Mystery Jackpots and 100 Spins. Look under the Free section for more free game options for depositors including Freemium, Quids In And Sunday Sizzle. Under VIP you'll find the Big £10K game. This is a £10,000 monthly jackpot that occurs on the 10th of every month across all Dragonfish powered brand. Nutty also has a Prize Bingo room that it shares with Bubble Burst, Hippo and others. They also share top slot games such as Slingo, Starburst and Twin Spin.
We love the Nutty brand name and if the likes of Costa and Wink can become big then Nutty should have been a contender. However it's safe to say that it has pretty much faded back into the pack along with a lot of other brands on the Dragonfish Network. Perhaps it's never really recovered from its TV advert that still makes us cringe when we see it. However it's not all bad news for Nutty.
Although the no deposit Daily Doozey room seems to be playing up, there's still some free bingo for new players. The welcome offer is reasonably generous although the x99 wagering on a games bonus is high. Nutty does have a good selection of rooms and slots plus the benefit of the Prize Room. This is open once a month for fairly decent prizes (iPad, Unlimited Cinema etc) and is a big plus point.
