Say Yes To The Dress Bingo Review
TV shows are happy to lend their names to bingo brands or rooms. Some like Deal Or No Deal are quite successful whilst others like Benidorm are perhaps less so. The latest show to try their hand in the online bingo world is Say Yes To The Dress. The popular wedding dress shopping programme is the first Discovery television show to take this online gambling route. So will players be saying yes to the bingo?
Say Yes To The Dress is a reality TV show that features brides to be looking to purchase their wedding dress. The flagship show features Kleinfeld Bridal in Manhatten and has made stars of Randy Fenoli and the team of specialists. UK versions of the show now exist! There's Say Yes To The Dress UK hosted by David Emanuel and Christine Dando. Plus you can watch Say Yes To The Dress: Lancashire which is hosted by Gok Wan. You can catch up with all shows on TLC.
Visitors to Say Yes To The Dress Bingo will find a minimalist looking site. A large image of wedding dresses gives a nod to the show's raison d'etre whilst the logo matches that of the show. Initially we did wonder whether this was an official site but we can confirm that it is! New players who say yes to the bingo and make a minimum of a £5 deposit are welcomed with a 300% bonus. This bonus is split 2/1 between a bingo and games bonus. Terms of x4 (bonus + deposit) for bingo and x80 for games apply.
You can try Say Yes To The Dress Bingo for free and without making a deposit either. Register and login to the site and access The Daily Doozey. This free bingo room will be open for 72 hours after registration. We're not quite sure what's happening with respect to the room as there now just seems to be one game every few days. We'll be keeping an eye on it but there's most certainly not 3 days of bingo on offer at the moment.
Dragonfish Bingo Rooms
Inside the SYTTD Bingo lobby you'll find a handful of bingo rooms inclusing the aforementioned Daily Doozey. The lobby of this brand is better than those seen on some other Dragonfish Network brands as it's much more modern. Under the bingo tab you'll find Daily Jackpots, 24/7, Specials, VIP and All. The 24/7 tab is where you'll find the main active rooms - High 5, Chatterbox and High 5.
All other rooms are jackpot rooms such as Mystery Jackpots and 100 Spins. Look under the Free section for more free game options for depositors including Freemium, Quids In And Sunday Sizzle. Under VIP you'll find the Big £10K game. This is a £10,000 monthly jackpot that occurs on the 10th of every month across all Dragonfish powered brand. Surprisingly there's no 52 ball rooms at SYTTD and in our view not really enough variety. Players will find more variety amongst the slots that include Slingo, Starburst and Twin Spin.
Any excitement generated with the arrival of a new TV show themed brand is quickly tempered when you realise that it's offering nothing new or exclusive. We do like the fact that the welcome offer is offered at just a £5 deposit, but beyond that it's the usual bespoke Dragonfish bingo games, jackpots and promotions. Other than the name there's nothing whatsoever that relates SYTTD Bingo to the TV show. There's no content from the show, no promotions or prizes relating to the show, no nothing!
Whilst we'd love Randy Fenoli to do the number calls the least we expect from a TV themed bingo brand is some kind of blog or area about the show. It just seems odd to go through the steps to create the brand, advertise it on every TLC version of Say Yes To The Dress and then offer players the same old bingo rooms. Will we be saying yes to the bingo - not until the site ups it game and offers us something better. Will you say yes?
