Silk Bingo Review
Silk Bingo is another site in the United Bingo stable that includes Moon, Robin Hood, Polo and Gossip. Silk - using the Dragonfish platform joins the same network as Gossip. It joined this group in 2013 but initially it started life as part of the larger Dragonfish Network. It's recently had a much needed makeover to give players "a luxurious venue for playing the best bingo and casino games". Let's see if that's really the case!
As well as being a self proclaimed luxury destination, Silk also claims that the party never stops and the cash is always flowing. The party is led by a young lady in a bright red dress and a handful of gold coins and bingo balls. This part of the site looks decent but the logo seems weak in comparison. On the plus side the site is responsive on mobile. Players can access Silk on desktop, mobile and tablet. No app is required to play in the bingo rooms or on the slots.
Silk Bingo Welcome Bonus
New players to Silk Bingo's party are welcomed with a free bingo tickets offer on first deposit. Deposit £10 to receive tickets for the £2500 Real Cash game and £50 Daily Treat. The value of these tickets are £50. Any wins from Real Cash have no wagering terms whilst it's x6 on the Daily Treat game. Additionally new depositors also receive 10 bonus spins. These spins are for the Aloha Cluster Pays slot and any wins come with x85 wagering terms. These are typical amounts for brands on the Dragonfish platform.
As is the case with most Dragonfish powered brands, Silk does offer new players free bingo games. Register with Polo as a newbie then login to access The Biggie, a free bingo room that is open for 3 days without deposit. To access the room again you'll need to make a £10 single deposit. Additional free rooms - The Supreme, The Ultra and The Grand are also available but require deposits of up to £50 for access. The prizes on offer range from £50 to £500.
Silk Bingo Promotions
Whilst the Silk Bingo site looks good, the lobby could do with a makeover. Inside you'll find a number of rooms offering 75 and 90 ball games. These include Share The Love, The Sauna and The Rehab. If you like something different then why not try the 52 ball Suit Up or 52 ball Roulette Bingo rooms. Look out too for daily jackpots such as the Up To £777 Mighty Nightly, Up To £500 Mystery Jackpot and Up To £250 Penny Bingo. Note that these are all sliding jackpot games.
Promotions wise there's not a lot to get excited about. Silk doesn't host it's own exclusives and instead relies on networked offers. These include a Super Millionaire game that plays every third Saturday of the month - it's a sliding jackpot game with £1000 guaranteed. We can pretty much guarantee you won't become a millionaire playing it as the odds just aren't in your favour! Other short term offers and promos are usually featured in the lobby.
Slots are also available to play at Silk. Among the top slots at Silk are Slingo, Rainbow Riches, Beat The Bobbies, Berryburst, Fluffy Too, Unicorn Bliss, Wish Upon A Jackpot and Treasure Fair. According to the homepage Silk now boasts over 500+ slots. Given that's there are this many slots and games you'd have thought that Dragonfish would have improved the layout and accessibility.
There's an old saying "why have cotton when you can have silk"? Well, we wonder why you'd choose silk over a multitude of other Dragonfish powered brands. The free bingo is nice and the welcome offer reasonable. After that though you have nothing else. That's not to say you shouldn't play here as everything in that respect is fine. The selection of games and slots is good - and there are occasional promos. We just think it needs to do a little bit more to live up to it's luxurious venue boasts.
