Welcome Bingo Review
Welcome Bingo launched on the Dragonfish Network in 2015. Although it's homepage lacks the oomph of recent new sites such as Katie's and Zinger there are plenty of reasons why you will get a warm welcome from them. The most obvious is the the various deposit bonuses on the table and the opportunity to play free bingo.
When Welcome Bingo launched they offered new players a no deposit bonus, however with changes in bonus taxation this was withdrawn in the Summer of 2017. In truth, without this offer there's not much to differentiate Welcome from other Dragonfish brands.
Welcome Bingo Bonus
For first time depositors, Welcome offers two options: a 300% bonus for bingo using the code BINGO1 or a 100% bonus for games using the code CASINO1. Further bonuses are available on second and third deposits. Again you have the option of bingo or games. Wagering terms will apply to these as well - just remember that games/slots will always have a much higher concern.
As mentioned above, Welcome Bingo is part of the Dragonfish Network. This means you'll find the same games, slots and promotions as on many other sites. For example there's Zodiac Bingo, The Big £10K, Sure Win and many more to enjoy. However there's plenty more at Welcome which ensures it stands out from the crowd!
Welcome Bingo Promotions
First off there's a daily login bonus of five free spins for depositors. To qualify you need to deposit £30 - this will give you 5 free spins each day for the remainder of the week (in other words, make the deposit at the start of the week). As a network brand there's free bingo games, but Welcome also has an exclusive room - it's open every hour for four games from 7pm to 10pm.
Don't expect to get rich from these free games though as the prizes are 5p, 10p and 15p for the one line, two lines and full house respectively. You may fair better simply by liking Welcome's Facebook page as there's £1000 in bonuses to be won when they reach 100 likes. Surprisingly they're still short of that target several months after launch!
Our Verdict
Overall Welcome has plenty of extras to give it that edge of the standard Dragonfish Network site. However it may well have to do a lot more than a no deposit bonus and having an option to change the colour of the site to really enter the big leagues.
In December 2019 Welcome Bingo closed on the Dragonfish Network. At time of writing (January 2020) the website suggests that the brand will return on a new platform. We suspect that this could be Jumpman as sister sites such as Welcome Slots and Lucy Casino have opened on this software. It'll be interesting to see how Welcome Bingo performs in a new home.
