Yay Bingo Review
Yay Bingo was launched in April 2018. It's a Dragonfish powered no wagering site from Tau Gaming. This is the stable behind similar brands like Bingo Idol, Zinger, Bounce and Cracker. It describes itself as "the most vibrant site around for all of your gaming needs". It's certainly very colourful and there are plenty of bingo rooms and slots to enjoy. Additionally there's free bingo and the chance for picking up daily spins. So will you be saying "yay" or "nay" to Yay Bingo?
Introducing Yay Bingo
Yay Bingo looks like many of the other Tau Gaming bingo brands. It's homepage is dominated by the welcome offer and large expanses of colour contain information about the bingo rooms and slots that are available. Black and white photos of "players" punctuate the colourful slides at the top of the page. One thing we do like about Yay Bingo is that they do use images of men on their site. Mind, the main guy looks like he's from TOWIE or a similar reality show. We're pretty sure he's not famous but he has one of those faces that looks familiar!
Yay Bingo Welcome Offer
Registration at Yay Bingo is simple - and first time depositors are welcomed with a typical no wagering bingo brand bonus. Deposit £10 using the promo code YAY to receive £70 of bingo tickets plus 10 spins on Fluffy Favourites. The tickets can be used on Street Party and Big Bang. Big Bang is the same as The Big £10K that plays on the 10th of every month at every Dragonfish brand. It's an everyone's a winner game too. All winnings are paid as cash so no wagering terms apply. Wins from the welcome offer can be withdrawn in line with the site's terms.
If you would like to try Yay Bingo for free then a no deposit offer is available. New players can login to the Free4U Room and give the site a test. Note that this free room is available to all players. Whilst the prizes on offer are small they are all paid in cash. Other free games are available including the £250 Sunday and £1000 Monday options. Note that to access these games, that you'll find on all Dragonfish brands, you'll need to qualify with either a funded account or wagering on the site.
Yay Bingo Promotions
Inside Yay you'll find the usual Dragonfish powered 75 ball and 90 ball rooms, jackpots and progressives. The main rooms include Street Party, Number 10, Blighty 90 and Fun In 90. Hits 52 and Bingo Roulette offer alternatives (52 ball) to to the traditional bingo games. These bingo rooms are joined by an array of slots from providers like Slingo, Eyecon, Pariplay and Net Entertainment. According to the blurb on the site Yay now offers over 300 different slots.
The big reason to visit Yay Bingo is that they offer daily rewards. To qualify for the free spins you must have deposited a minimum of £5 in the last 30 days AND wagered a minimum of £1 on any games. The spins are granted upon login and are valid until midnight the same day. Because it's a wager free site the spins are granted in real money and are capped based on your VIP level. As well as spins players can also collect free tickets for selected bingo games.
In isolation, Yay Bingo is an exciting site that will provide players with a good experience. The no wagering element does seem to becoming a norm for many new bingo sites though, so whilst good it's not as unique as it once was. Back in 2018 we said that "we expect most bingo sites to adopt this approach in the future". However it does seem that this trend has stalled and brands like Bgo.com, for example, have switched back to offering bonuses with wagering terms.
Yay does lack any kind of uniqueness and this is frustration. The brand has no social media presence nor any promotions that can be dubbed exclusive. Tau continues to push out "no wagering" brands on the Real Money platform but none of them have been developed. Yay has a good name but needs more to help it rise to the same levels as Costa and Wink. There are positives if you choose Yay. These include the Free4U room, the welcome offer and daily rewards.
