Zinger Bingo Review
Zinger Bingo is a sister site to Hunky Bingo and opened it's doors as a Dragonfish Network site in May 2016. More recently it joined other Tau Gaming properties on the wager free Real Money Network, also powered by Dragonfish. The name Zinger is perhaps more familiar to fans of KFC burgers, but it also means "a striking or amusing remark" or "an outstanding person or thing". So is Zinger an outstanding thing in the online bingo world? Read our review below to decide.
Introducing Zinger Bingo
Make sure you're wearing sunglasses when you visit Zinger Bingo because it's bathed in the brightest of green colours. When it first launched it featured a Macaw but that bird has since flown. Instead there's a few bingo balls to punctuate the overwhelming sense of green. Look closely though and you can still see some jungle foliage within the background. We're not quite sure how that fits in with "Zinger" though. Still at least it's not anything chicken related.
Zinger Bingo Welcome Offer
When Zinger first launched it offered newbies a massive 700% welcome bonus. This was quite a generous deal too as the bonuses could be used on any games. Now that Zinger is a wager free brand you still get a bonus but this comes as free tickets for specific games. These games are Street Party and Big Bang. Big Bang is the same as The Big £10K that plays on the 10th of every month at every Dragonfish brand. It's an everyone's a winner game too. As well as the free tickets a £10 deposit also gets 10 spins on Fluffy Favourites. Use the code ZINGER.
If you would like to try Zinger for free then a no deposit offer is available. New players can login to the Free4U Room and give the site a test. Note that this free room is available to all players. As well as the Free4U games there are of course 90 ball and 75 ball rooms including Street Party, Number 10, Blighty 90 and Fun In 90. Hits 52 and Bingo Roulette offer alternatives to to the traditional bingo games. Daily jackpots and other Dragonfish Network games such as The Big Bang (Big £10K) compelete an exciting choice of rooms.
Trying to stand out from the crowd in online bingo is quite difficult these days. Zinger try to do this by offering depositing players a daily bonus. Visit each day and check out the offer - it's usually a deposit bonus (minimum of £5 within the last 30 days) and in return you can claim free spins and bingo tickets. As Zinger is a no wagering terms bingo site any wins from these spins/tickets - like the welcome offer above - are paid out in real cash. These winnings can be withdrawn provided the withdrawal terms are met.
Slots feature quite heavily at Zinger and like all other Dragonfish brands there's a good selection available. These include Fluffy Too, Sparks, Wolf Run, Neon Staxx, Golden Goddess, Fluffy Favourites, Slingo and Sugar Train. In addition you'll find some progressive jackpot games and table games. As we've commented on other reviews the slots section of the Dragonfish lobby isn't our favourite. We think it needs a makeover to make locating slot titles a lot easier.
When we first reviewed this brand we said that "Zinger doesn't break the boundaries of bingo". Whilst it didn't offer anything particular new it did have a large welcome offer and the daily bonus. Now it's become a wager free entity it does mean that it retains those elements but now competes with an army of sister brands like Cracker, Blighty, Bounce, Sailor and Kozmo. Once you pass over the huge welcome offers these sites have then there's not much to differentiate them.
That said if you're new to Zinger or the wager free Dragonfish platform then do take a look. We like the Free4U room which is open to all players. Plus we like the various jackpot rooms and specials that are shared across the whole DF network. The daily freebies are great but you do need to be high up the VIP scale to get the most tickets and spins. It'd be nice to see prize games, exclusive promotions or just something different on the wager free platform, but there's enough here to keep you zinging along.
