Last Friday (24th March) it was Comic Relief and to be honest the less said about the comedy the better. Aside from Carpool Karaoke, Ed Sheeran and Love Actually 2 there wasn’t much comedy to enjoy and it was most certainly a relief when it finished.
On the plus side over £70million was raised for good causes but the fund raising hasn’t stopped. If you’re a fan of Doctor Who you might like to try and win what is most certainly a once in a lifetime prize! Whilst this is a pay to enter competition you will be donating to Comic Relief!
So what’s the prize – well the winner of this prize draw will be enjoying breakfast with not one, but seven Timelords! That’s right you could win breakfast with seven Doctor Whos! The seven are Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, David Tennant, Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi. They will meet up one morning at The Wolseley on Piccadilly (date to be confirmed) – and you could be there to join them for what promises to be an experience for fans of the show.
As far as we’re aware there are eight prizes on offer in this prize draw and all money raised goes to Comic Relief. The prize has been kindly donated by Peter, Colin, Sylvester, Paul, David, Matt, Peter and The Wolseley. Entry is open worldwide but remember you’ll need to get yourself to the breakfast date under your own steam.
It’s hard to put a value on this prize but as a guide check out the related auctions going on at Givergy. There are two auctions currently running and both are offering the prize described above. At time of writing one auction is at £10,000 whilst the other is at £25,000!
One ticket will cost you £5 but there are options to purchase more should you so wish to. Now as this is a for charity prize draw we’re loathe to tell you the next bit – but should you not wish to “pay to enter” then you can still get involved in the prize draw. Head to the prize draw site and check out the terms as there’s a free postal entry route described.
The Breakfast With The Doctor Whos prize draw ends on 25th May 2017 at 5.30pm. Good luck if you choose to enter – and do let us know if you get lucky!
