Spin Genie Review
When Spin Genie launched in 2014 it boasted "fun, friends and adventure". Since then it's bumbled along whilst picking up and then dropping Louie Spence along the way. It's also dropped the adventure aspect of it's initial launch. Back then you could help The Spin Genie through various loyalty levels which generated rewards. In 2018, Spin Genie simply offers plenty of slots and games for the discerning visitor.
Join The Adventure
The strapline for Spin Genie actually sounds more like something from The Goonies than a site dedicated to slots. The adventure however comes in the shape of helping The Spin Genie, who happens to be a fox, make his way through various levels. The further you go the more bonuses and prizes await you.
Details about the "adventure" side of things are quite limited but as the site is fairly new we suspect that these things may well appear in the future. Spin Genie has a softer look to it which we feel has been done to pitch the site to a more female audience. The fox character looks friendly and the site has a nice feel to it - much different to the dark colours of most casinos and even Gamesys' Star Spins.
No Deposit Spins
Join Spin Genie as a new player to receive 50 no deposit spins. These spins can be used on a selection of Net Entertainment games only. Wins from the spins are paid as a bonus and the bonus has a x60 wagering term. The maximum accumulated win using bonus funds awarded from your 50 free spins is £100.
Go on to become a depositor to receive a 200% bonus up to £100. Again terms apply (x80 for slots, x60 for Slingo). These welcome offers are subject to change. Spin Genie, and it's sister sites of Slingo.com and Pocket Fruity, seem to change the no deposit and first deposit offer on a regular basis.
Slots Of Choice
Games wise there are plenty of slots to choose from at Spin Genie. These include Rainbrew, Hold The Safe, Irish Riches, Electric Tiger, Caravan to Cairo, Volts & Bolts, Mirror Mirror and Rainbow Riches. These games are joined by various Slingo games and slots. Bar X XL, Slingo Love Island, Slingo Riches, Dancing On Ice, Pay Of The Dead and The Price Is Right are just some of the "in-house" titles available.
When Spin Genie first launched we lamented the lack of exclusive games. Then Slingo came along as did a mix of Gaming Realm slots. It's kind of ironic that these exclusives are now being hosted on Dragonfish sites - thereby negating the exclusivity that Spin Genie et al finally achieved.
Blackjack and roulette players will find a selection of games to enjoy at Spin Genie. There's also live casino games including Dream Catcher and Casino Holdem. Video poker players are catered for with a few options, but these are listed under 'casino'.
Spin Genie did actually launch it's own bingo channel. However, this didn't last long and the closest option is Slingo Boom. A multiplayer version of the slots/bingo game that is Slingo. Occasionally you may find a free game to play. It's notable that Gaming Realms don't seem to be focusing on this as much nowadays.
VIP & Promotions
If you like regular promotions then Spin Genie is going to disappoint. The same applies if loyalty rewards are important to you. Promos are few and far betweeen whilst the VIP scheme is purely for VIPs. Average players will not be rewarded for their loyalty. Spin Genie did have a Facebook presence, but this hasn't been updated since October 2017.
Joining these disappointments are the terms regarding dormancy, maximum withdrawal limits (£10K), and depositing options. The no deposit bonus may be attractive to some players, but bewary of the hefty wagering terms.
