Yorkshire is becoming a bit of a hotspot for property raffles and here's another home owner hoping to emulate previous successes. The owner of this property wants to move and rather than opt for conventional means they've decided to upload to Raffall. Whilst we appreciate that sellers via raffles want to maintain some degree of anonymity with respect to location it does help if they offer can at least drill down to town level. West Yorkshire covers a vast area! We think that the actual location is around Wakefield but we're not 100% certain.

How To Enter The Competition

But what of the property itself. It's described as a 5 year old, four bedroom detached house. There's a lounge, kitchen diner and orangery downstairs whilst upstairs are the four bedrooms, one witn ensuite and a family bathroom. A landscaped rear garden, small garage and an EV point are the other property highlights. All solicitors fees will be paid (although we don't know if that includes stamp duty) and there will even be a celebratory bottle of champagne on transference of ownership.

To enter the raffle you need to be registered with Raffall. This can be done via Facebook or email login. Once at the house raffle page it's a case of answering a question and purchasing tickets. The question pops up in a window which we found disappeared very quickly. Tickets only cost £3 and there's no limit to the number you can purchase. You can purchase online using debit cards. If all the tickets are sold then the owner will donate 10% of revenue to My Hospitals Charity.

250,000 Ticket Sales

The promoter of this competition, Nick Wyrill, aims to sell 250,000 tickets (total revenue £500,000) by the start of July 2021 in order to conclude the draw. If insufficient tickets are sold then the winners will receive a share of the compensation amounting to 75% of all ticket sales. All compensation payments are guaranteed and paid directly by Raffall Limited. Note that if 100% of the tickets are not sold then the promoter receives nothing.

This one reminds us in many ways of the first successful Raffall competition. That property was also in Wakefield and perhaps this one can emulate it's successful conclusion. A bit more detail about location would be nice but if local press and residents get behind the venture then it might do well. However at the moment many competitions are failing to hit high ticket sales so a 250,000 may be a tad too much. It's good to see charity being supported with a hefty contribution so let's hope it does well for that reason. Enter Competition Here
