William Hill Offers: Up To £25 Matched Deposit Bet
William Hill are bringing out the big guns this week to encourage punters to have a wager on The Grand National. They've signed up top jockey and previous winner of the race, AP McCoy, to front their advertising campaign. In the ad McCoy explains that it's not easy to win The Grand National but is easy to bet on it at William Hill.
The bookmaker has also turned to science as we mentioned in our 'How Do You Pick A Grand National Winner'! William Hill challenged Cambridge mathematician William Hartston to come up with a formula to help punters pick the winning Grand National horse.
Above is a video clip showing Hartston explaining his formula and theory. We're not sure if this is a belated April Fool but the academic has applied this theory to this year's race and gone for Seabass. Will he be right or is their something fishy about the whole formula!
Seabass is currently 11/1 at William Hill. That's joint second favourite with Colbert Station and behind On His Own who's 15/2 favourite. Cappa Blue is next at 12/1 whilst Chicago Grey is at 14s. These are all followed by Balthazar King, Imperial Commander, Join Together, Sunnyhillboy and another of Hartson's choices Teaforthree. These are all currently at 16/1.
