It's been a couple of months since our last new bingo site round up and since then there's been quite a few new additions especially on the 15 Network, Live Bingo Network (Cozy Games) and from Mandalay Media. All new brands however are additions to existing networks and/or replicates of existing brands. So do any of the new kids on the block stand out?
Wish For Angry Sugar!
In our April 2014 round up we mentioned the arrival of Rio Bingo to the Mandalay Media stable. Since then there's been two more additions in the shape of Angry Bingo and Wish Bingo. All new brands to this stable look great but there's little new as all games are networked and there are cross site promotions too. The no deposit offers of £10 at Wish and £5 at Angry will no doubt attract interest but we had hoped for more. We suspect that they'll be more launches before the end of the year!
Wish, Angry and Rio use the Cassava/Dragonfish platform as does another new addition, Sugar Bingo. Sugar is the latest sister site to Moon and Robin Hood and whilst sweet on the outside offers nothing new and tasty on the inside. The site does give new players a reasonable welcome deposit bonus of deposit £5 and get £20 to play (300%) and there are hourly treats/rewards on offer.
Sky Rocket In Sight
The 15 Network continues it's expansion with the arrival of four new names - Rocket, Paddy, Money Saver and Brand New! They all offer the same welcome bonus of 200% plus a spin the wheel extra for depositors over £10. Money Saver's attempts to stand out are based on a cashback offering whilst Rocket and Brand New have their own exclusive prize promotions. All four look fine, although in our view Rocket has the most potential to really take off.
All Aboard The Gravy Train
One groups of sites growing faster than the 15 Network is The Live Bingo Network. This uses the Cozy Games platform and it is adding new brands almost every other week. Amongst the recent new arrivals are Smooth Bingo, Gravy Train, United Colours Of Bingo and Buttercup. All four have the same £15 free trial for new players as well as the big money first three deposit bonuses. None offer exclusive promotions and that's a shame.
Clash Of The Titan
It does seem that brand building isn't something that some bingo operators wish to get involved with. They launch a site, attract new players then leave it to it's own devices. Any investment goes into creating a new site and so the cycle continues. That shouldn't be the case with Titan Bingo who have launched on Virtue Fusion. This is Titan's latest foray into bingo and the channel should do well alongside it's casino and sportsbook services. However, like all the above it will need to offer a bit more in terms of exclusives and interest.
Despite the sites mentioned, The Virtue Fusion Network, has in fact expanded quicker than any others mentioned. This is because it recently became the platform of choice for Bauer Media so brand such as Closer Bingo now utilise the software. In the coming months Mirror Bingo and her sister newspaper brands will also add their weight to the network. Hopefully Mirror Bingo will add something new to what is becoming an expanding but stale state of affairs.
Fingers On The Pulse
The biggest excitement in bingoland since our last round up is the latest new game from Tombola. It's called Pulse and is their version of Speed Bingo. Whilst it's simple in design, it's also fun and innovative. Tombola are the UK's top site and it just goes to show that putting effort into a brand can pay off. Perhaps some of the networks churning out clones of their brands may want to consider that?
