Bingo April Fools & A £1000 No Foolin Jackpot
This Promotion Has Expired.
Now it's after midday on April 1st we can start posting content again without anyone claiming April Fool. There have been some good ones this year although to be fair most are exposed by the media so there are no shocks. We particularly liked the idea of Olivia Coleman being the next James Bond although Google may be wishing they'd not bothered with their Minion email efforts.
Make Bingo An Olympic Sport
Wink Bingo jumped the gun with their fool. They posted at midnight that they will now be known as Blink Bingo. Mind you they did offer a £20 Tesco Voucher prize to the player who could come up with the best slogan. Surprisingly Wink's sister site at 888 Ladies Bingo decided not to do a fool - a path also chosen by Jackpotjoy.
The best bingo related April Fool award has to go to Mecca Bingo for their attempts to "get bingo recognised as an official sport". They even went as far as creating a video and advertised the domain "votebingo.co.uk". Disappointingly the website didn't work when we tried it.
Get Fit With Foxy
Foxy Bingo got in on the April Fools act too by revealing to their Facebook fans that a new Foxy Fit DVD would be coming soon. That actually doesn't that unfeasible given Foxy's forays into beauty products! It was also a better effort than that conjured up by Gala Bingo. They made a rather lame attempt to convince players that from next year all daffodils will be green.
Elsewhere we had the announcement that a "coming soon" site, Square Bingo, wasn't in fact coming soon at all. Instead it turned out to be an advert for another bingo brand. Away from bingo we do have to make a nod towards The Free Postcode Lottery as they tried to convince their users to petition against the Royal Mail dropping postcodes. Some people fell for the fool and even signed the petition.
Win £1000 - No Foolin' Around
One site that isn't Fooling Around this year is Rio Bingo. They will be giving away an honest £1000 in cash on 11th April at 10.30pm. Tickets cost an astronomical £5 each so make sure you use the earn freebies options. You can collect one ticket when you deposit £20, wager £10 on bingo or wager £20 on slots.
You can collect tickets for No Foolin' Me at Rio Bingo up until the 10th April 2016. If you've not joined then you can claim a £5 free no deposit bonus when you register - wagering terms will apply.
