The new football season is just a month but already there's been a jackpot win on Sky's Super Six. That means the top prize of £250,000 has been paid out. However unfortunately a lot of players picked the same scores this week. So instead of one lucky player picking up the cash, a total of 29 will share the prize fund.
The 29 lucky Super Six winners of £8620 have got Scott Dann to thank for their prize. With seconds remaining of the featured fixtures it appeared that the prize would not be won and Crystal Palace, trailing 1-0 against Bournemouth, were largely to blame. However, then came a stoppage-time header from Palace captain Scott Dann.
The six winning results were as follows:
- Chelsea 3 - Burnley 0
- Crystal Palace 1 - Bournemouth 1
- Everton 2 - Stoke City 1
- Leicester City 2 - Swansea City 1
- Southampton 1 - Sunderland 1
- Watford 1 - Arsenal 3
For me personally it was a good week. No I didn't win the jackpot, but did manage to get 16 points and predicted the golden goal time (9 minutes). Compared to winning £8620 that's not very good but it does represent the best score I've ever managed playing Super Six. Hopefully it'll be a better result next week!
If you've not played Super Six before then sign up with Skybet and play for free every week. All you have to do is predict the results of six featured games. If you get all six correct then you can win up to £250,000 (hopefully as sole winner and not 1 of 29). However if no one gets six results correct then the highest scorer of the week will win £5000.
