New Bingo Sites For November 2016
Added On 18th November 2016
Rewind Bingo - No Wagering
This will probably be the last new site round up for 2016. In truth this year has not been a vintage one for new brands with many operators simply churning out much of the same. Whether this is simply a case of waiting to see what happens next year or an indication of waning interest in online bingo remains to be seen. Either way 2017 is going to be an intriguing one for all concerned.
From Igloos To Lucky Diners
As ever it's the Cozy Games platform which provides the most new bingo sites. Whilst the Live Bingo Network was being populated in 2015, this year it's been the turn of the Best Bingo Network. Sweet Home, Sailor, Igloo and Ghost have all been added to the stable in the last couple of months. Now and Lucky Diner have joined the other network alongside Newbies.
All pretty much offer an identical bingo experience. New players are welcomed with a no deposit trial and this is followed with the usual hefty first deposit bonus. There are some subtle variations - for example Lucky Diner offers access to Live TV Bingo games whilst Igloo Bingo offer their players free games daily.
Enter The Kingdom Of Bingo
Ignite/Mandalay Media have also been popping out new brands over the last couple of months. Like it's predecessor, Deep Sea Bingo, Sweet Shop Bingo was launched as a Dragonfish Network brand. Thankfully the next new sites added to the stable, Kingdom Of Bingo and Rewind, reverted back to type and joined the Costa mini-network. All four offer new players a £5 no deposit bonus and a variety of free games.
There have been other new additions to the Dragonfish Network over the last few months. Flowerpot, Sin Street, Oink, Peeps and Lovehearts among the new brands. We've found that new brands on this network just don't seem to appeal to new players, even those that offer a no deposit bonus. Bigger brands on the same platform can offer more games and promotions so we do wonder whether players prefer the likes of Foxy, Costa and Wink over smaller brands?
The Chase Is On
Virtue Fusion have been a bystander for most of 2016 when it comes to new sites. However they have acquired Sun Bingo and Fabulous Bingo to their stable whilst there's been plenty of activity in the new game department. Gala have led the way with the addition of The Chase Bingo whilst Sky, who have been having a revamp, have added their own version of a 50 Ball game - Mystic Bingo.
Perhaps the most exciting addition is the arrival of Tombola Arcade. Although not a bingo site, it does offer slots and instants at considerably lower prices. In fact the maximum you can play per game is £1! As their bingo product shows - you don't need to make people pay a lot if you have great games.
So What Next?
The arrival of Tombola Arcade is perhaps a good indicator of the future. Slots and instants are becoming increasingly more popular. The number of sites on the Dragonfish Slots Network continues to grow whilst Jumpman have recently added four new brands to their own slots platform. These sites potentially take players away from bingo - and that means bingo needs to up it's own game to stay competitive.
It's notable that less brands use TV to advertise and perhaps that's a reflection on tighter budgets and/or potential concerns regarding imminent tax changes. At the start we said 2017 is going to be an intriguing year - we anticipate that it's also going to be an incredibly tough one.
