Election Bingo Cards Plus Miliband Bingo Calls
Added On 22nd May 2017
The General Election will take place on 8th June 2017 and we don't know about you but it can't come soon enough. The endless soundbites, promises and desperate attempts to persuade voters has become a tad tedious already. Thankfully help is at hand in the shape of Snap Election Bingo!
Snap Election Bingo isn't a brand new website - although we expect someone will consider it as a new brand! Snap Election Bingo is in fact a bingo card created by the folks over at Ladbrokes. They've put together 16 phrases for you to look out for during the build up to the election.
Among the phrases you need to watch out for are "a secure NHS", "strong and stable" and "through Brexit and beyond". Now there are no prizes for completing this BS Bingo card. It's all just for fun but it definitely will help get you through the next couple of weeks!
However, Ladbrokes Bingo have added a prize element to the Snap Election Bingo Card. For the chance to win a £50 Amazon Voucher you're asked to retweet the above post from Twitter. You also need to follow Ladbrokes on Twitter to qualify your entry. The closing date for the prize draw is the 28th May.
Ladbrokes aren't the only ones who have put together a General Election bingo card. The Poke have created "Theresa May’s election slogan bingo"! It's not as indepth as the Ladbrokes one as all the "numbers" are the same. On the plus side you are advised to drink a gin when you cross one off!
The Guardian have a very similar game to The Poke. This particular card which was created for May's appearences on the Andrew Marr and Peston On Sunday shows features the words "strong", "stable" and "coalition of chaos". The Guardian don't suggest you drink gin though, perhaps through social responsibility.
You can always rely on one politician to go one step further than all the rest. Former Labour leader, Ed Miliband, was recently filmed calling out the bingo numbers (see above). Ed did a fine job with the calls and it's good to know that an alternative career awaits him should he decide to move out of politics.
Perhaps one day we could actually see "Election Bingo" being launched with Miliband calling out the numbers which could be called the Ed "Bingo" Balls!
