New Look Wink Introduces Wink Rewards
Published On 22nd January 2018
Changing look seems to be the current trend in online bingo. Betfred, William Hill and more recently Heart have given themselves a makeover. Joining them in the new look stable are Wink who have relaunched their website with a few changes including a little adjustment to their logo. There's also a new welcome offer for new players.
As part of their change, Wink have dropped the colour background from their logo and instead filled in the word 'Wink' with pink, orange, green and blue. When you now arrive at the site you now see a more pop art styled look with a graphically drawn bingo lady replacing the real people who have adorned the site for a couple of years now.
The new Wink Bingo lady looks a bit like Denise van Outen and she (the graphic) plays a big role on the new look Wink. Check out the video below which introduces another important aspect of the site - Wink Rewards! Wink Rewards can be used in the Wink Shop to get bonuses, Free Spins, Bonus Combos or even shopping vouchers.
New Welcome Bonus
You collect Wink Rewards as you play (1 reward for each full £1 wagered), but new players can get their first ones by becoming a first time depositor. Register as a new player and spend £10 on bingo to receive £10 worth of Wink Rewards and a 300% bingo bonus up to £200. Terms apply including a x2 terms applies to the amount of deposit and bonus funds.
A subtle change also occurs within the new offer. Previously you only need to deposit £10 in order to get the welcome bonus - now you need to deposit and spend £10. This isn't an unusual step forward for Wink as many other brands, namely those on the Virtue Fusion platform, already implement this kind of policy.
Wink Rewards
Wink Rewards can be spent in the Wink Shop where you can choose to convert them to bonuses, spins or shopping vouchers. The You can choose from a selection of different retailers including Netflix, Amazon, Debenhams, John Lewis, iTunes, Starbucks and Costa.
Terms and conditions do apply to the Wink Rewards, but it's worth noting that - apart from the welcome bonus - you'll need to wager £1000 to achieve 1000 points and therefore a £10 voucher. It's better than nothing but our advice is look for games offering Wink Rewards as prizes as that's where you're going to get the best returns.
Wink Bingo has reinvented itself more times than Madonna, so it'll be interesting to see how this latest development works and whether it'll be rolled out to the likes of 888 Ladies and Posh. The idea of rewards is good, but we do wonder whether the value of the Wink Rewards are significant enough for players who are constantly looking for more value from their favourite sites.
