Who Are Favourites To Win Love Island 2018
Article Updated On 5th June 2018
The big reality TV show of the summer, Love Island, is back on our screens. The ITV2 series sees a bunch of male and female contestants coupling up in order to survive being voted out the villa. The couple that survive to the end are the winners and pick up a cash prize. Everyone else gets a career as a Z-Lister for life.
Some bookmakers are offering odds for the current series of Love Island. Betfred for example have books for top male, top female and winning couple. The early favourites are Dani Dyer & Jack Fincham. They're 8/1 to win the series - the same odds as Dani Dyer & Niall Aslam. Aslam is 12/1 to win with Kendall Rae-Knight and 14/1 to win with Laura Anderson.
Dani Dyer Favourite To Win
Unsurprisingly, Dani Dyer is the favourite to be top female. She's 15/8 for the top spot, ahead of Kendall Rae-Knight who is 3/1. Laura Anderson comes in third at 4/1. Niall Aslam is the favourite male with odds of 9/4. Fincham is at 5/2 whilst Eyal Booker follows at 5/1.
We actually think the only reason Dani Dyer is favourite at the moment is because she's the most well known. As the daughter of Danny Dyer, Dani has had plenty of pre-publicity - a lot more than other contestants. We think that it may be better to hold fire for a week or two before committing to any individual or couple.
Best Odds
It's worth shopping around for the best odds too. William Hill and Paddy Power don't have a book for the best couple, but Ladbrokes and Coral do. Sun Bets don't offer any odds for the reality series. Interestingly Ladbrokes and Coral have Dani and Jack as the favourite couple to win - but at odds of 3/1!
So who will win? It should be remembered that Love Island likes to have a few twists and turns. This means that new contestants will be added to the villa throughout the series. Based on this picking a winner from the current crop of inmates is quite a tough ask.
Our tips are based purely on first impressions. We're going for Niall Aslam for top male and we're plumping for Kendall Rae-Knight instead of Dani Dyer. Both will no doubt be the first to leave!!
