Just when we thought that the bingo bonus merry-go-round had stopped, it has started spinning again. Back in late 2017 a number of Ignite/Mandalay Media brands dropped their no deposit welcome offers. A few months later the free bingo rooms changed too. Now (June 2018) there's another upheaval with regards to the welcome offer and wagering terms.
Over the next week, Farmyard, Kingdom Of Bingo, Rewind, Season, Bringo, Sparkly, Frozen, Angry, Giant and Dino will all adopt the same welcome offer. Out will go the percentage deposit bonus and in will come free tickets on first deposit. For each site, players depositing £10 will receive 120 free bingo tickets.
These free tickets are for specific rooms - and players get 30 free tickets per room. Each game has a prize pot of £10. The rooms, that are open from 10am to midnight daily, are as follows:
- Ticket To Ride: 75-ball with 1TG/2TG
- Just the Ticket: 75-ball
- Golden Ticket: 90-ball
- Choo Choo Ticket: 5-line
Second & Third Deposit Bonus
As well as the free tickets on first deposit, players can also get a second and third deposit bonus. There are 60 free tickets for the Choo Choo room on second deposit. In addition, there's 30 free tickets for the Golden Ticket room on third deposit.
Any wins from any of these free ticket offers are paid out as cash. This means that the winnings can be withdrawn with no wagering terms applicable. This is a huge step for these group of sites and pretty much puts them on par with the Real Money Network group.
As we mentioned above, free bingo has changed across this network of sites. The 24/7 rooms for non-depositors has long since closed. However, new players can enjoy free games for 24 hours in the new Bingo Academy. Newbies who register can immediately access the Academy and play for small cash prizes.
Depositors aren't overlooked either. There are two free rooms that are open to depositors and to players who have deposited £10 within the last 24 hours. Interestingly the former is still offering bonus cash as a prize. We anticipate that this may well change in the future across the Ignite network.
We feel that 'no wagering' and 'free bingo tickets' don't excite new players as much as the good old '£10 no deposit bonus' used to. However, these changes are a positive step and hopefully will spark the likes of Farmyard, Dino and Bringo back into some degree of life. If the changes work then we expect they'll be rolled out to Wish, Angry, Rio, Treasure, City, Sing and Fancy - perhaps even Costa.
