August has been designated Soap Spectacular month at Gala Bingo. After putting the spotlight on it's The Chase games during July, it's now shining bright on both the Emmerdale and Coronation Street bingo rooms. Get involved each week for the next four weeks for the chance to enjoy free games and win a VIP Set Tour.
Soap Spectacular Bingo runs at Gala Bingo between the 30th July and 26th August 2018. The promo is split into four weeks with a qualifying period that runs from Monday to Saturday. These qualifiers all end in a Sunday finale where £10,000 of free bingo games will play. To qualify for the freebies you'll need to wager on the Soap bingo games.
Coronation Street Bingo and Emmerdale Bingo have been popular rooms at Gala Bingo since October 2016. They are exclusive to Gala and Coral. Both rooms operate 90 ball games but there's extra jackpots on offer. We especially like the Corrie room as this features clips from the show - back in the day when Weatherfield wasn't the murder capital of the UK.
£10,000 Free Bingo
Back to the Soap Spectacular promo - Gala will give you 1 free ticket to the Sunday Finale when you wager £2.50 on Coronation Street Bingo and/or Emmerdale Bingo. Players can earn up to 36 cards for the next available Sunday game. Note that tickets don't roll over from week to week. The free games play between 6.30pm and 10pm. All prizes are paid as cash and there are 1L, 2L and FH pots up for grabs.
If you're not available to play all the free games on a Sunday then do try and make it online for 9pm to 10pm. This is when the bigger cash prizes are on offer. They include a £900 full house (£1500 total pot) in the last game of the session. Eyes down for that one is at 10pm. Mind you, that's not to say the other games aren't worth playing - the minimum pot per game is £150.
Win A VIP Set Tour
Each week that you earn tickets for the qualifiers you'll also earn an entry into a VIP Tour prize draw. It's not clear whether this draw will occur weekly or at the end of the promotion. However, the winner will receive a VIP set tour of either Coronation Street or Emmerdale.
The prize package includes accommodation, limo transfer, tour of the set, £100 of travel expenses and £100 spending money. Note that the prize is not transferable and no cash alternative is on offer.
