During The World Cup, Coral launched a free to enter competition that gave punters the chance to win a million. To take part, entrants needed to predict the outcome of 10 events during the tournament. As far as we know, nobody managed to get all Mystic Meg. However, Coral have brought back the promotion for another run to celebrate the new Premier League Season.
The Premier League Coral Million works in exactly the same way as the World Cup competition. To take part you have 10 questions to answer - each question is about events that will occur during the forthcoming season. For example, question one asks you to predict the winners of the Premier League.
Who Will Win The Golden Boot
After that you need to predict the lowest placed two teams from The Top Six. Question three asks if Leicester will finish in the bottom half whilst question 4 wants your prediction for the bottom placed club. Who will win the Golden Boot and how many of the victorious French squad will score a Premier League goal this season are questions 5 and 6.
It's all about the sack race for question 7 - how many managers will have departed by Christmas Day. Red cards in the Mersey and North London derbies crop up at 8, whilst PFA player of the year predictions are required for 9. Finally it's all on the last day of the season for question 10 as you need to predict the number of clean sheets.
£50,000 Guaranteed Prize
For the World Cup Coral Million we estimated that the chances of winning was 1353 times harder than winning the lottery. The Premier League competition has a lot more variables and therefore it's going to be even harder for someone to predict all 10 questions correctly.
However, one big difference between this competition and The World Cup one is that this one has a guaranteed prize. Coral are offering a £50,000 guaranteed runner-up prize to the person who answers the most questions correctly without getting all 10 correct. (Prize split equally if there are multiple runners-up).
Entry closes on the 1st September. See Coral for full details, terms and conditions.
