We had been wondering whether we'd see some big festive jackpot games this Christmas. The lack of big prizes means that there's no doubt that December 2018 won't go down as a vintage year for online bingo. However, there is some good news thanks to the folks at 888 Ladies, Wink, Posh, Redbus and Tasty Bingo!
The Christmas Market is now open at the aforementioned sites and this means there's up to £13,000 of bingo jackpots waiting to be won. Until the 25th December 2018 you can gorge yourself on a feast of festive games including the £100 Christmas Cracker, £1000 Turkey Dinner and the £5000 Christmas Pudding. Tickets cost from just 1p!
£1000 Turkey Dinner
The £100 Christmas Cracker plays daily at 9pm. This is a 90 ball game that offers £20 for one line, £30 for two lines and £50 for the full house. Tickets cost just 1p each and you can pre-buy. Login to Wink Bingo and select the Christmas tab on the right side of the lobby. There you'll find the £100 game room as well as the bigger jackpot games.
This includes the £1000 Turkey Dinner that plays at 6pm and 10pm on the 9th, 16th and 23rd December 2018. These are Mystery Jackpot games which means you won't know the actual prize pot until just before eyes down. Prize funds will range from £50 to £1000. All games are 75 ball and tickets cost £10.
£5000 Christmas Pudding
Christmas Day is when 888 Ladies and her sister sites will host their big festive jackpot. The £5000 Christmas Pudding plays at 1pm and tickets cost 15p each. Eyes down is quite early for a Christmas Day jackpot - usually they run in the evening - so we suggest you prebuy your tickets for this one.
Note that the £5000 Christmas Pudding is a sliding jackpot 90 ball game. This means you'll need to call 1L, 2L or FH in a certain number of calls to take the top prizes of £1500, £1700 and £2500 respectively. The minimum prizes are £50, £200 and £650. Shared Jackpots
All the above are shared games so they will be running on 888 Ladies, Wink Bingo, Posh Bingo, Tasty Bingo, Bingo Street and Bingo Loft. The names of the games may vary from site to site. In the event of multiple winners jackpots will be shared. All games are also only open to depositing players.
It's great to see these festive games, but they're a far cry from previous years. In 2012 for example each site hosted their own £2000 jackpot game whilst there was a guaranteed £3000 on offer in the big Christmas game of 2016. Take a step further back to 2009 and 888 Ladies gave away a Fiat 500 in a festive bingo game. Mind you it's not always been great - Wink did giveaway Peter Andre tickets back in 2015.
