In Hit The Spot your task is to score from 10 shooting positions. Score a goal and it's one point. However there are targets in the goal which give you more points. This means you can score 2, 3 or 5 points per shot. Unfortunately Paddy Power aren't going to make life easy and there's a goalkeeper and defenders that get in your way. In addition you also need to take into account the wind direction.
Win A Share Of £1000
To win a share of the £1000 prize that's on offer you need to score the target number of points. In short, the majority of your shots will need to score 3 or more. You most certainly will need to hit a few 5s during the game. There are 10 shots per round and you get 10 lives per day to meet the target. Lives are reset at the start of each day. Prize money is paid out in cash and therefore no wagering terms apply.
When you login to the game at Paddy Power you'll be invited the chance to practice. This gives you an opportunity to figure out the mouse controls. It's worth doing the practice, however in the main game the scenarios are a lot different. Not every shot is from the penalty spot and with each kick the scenarios get a lot more complex. The best we managed was a score of 17 but this was way off the target score.

Hit The Spot is a fun game to play but it's also annoying. Just when you think you've got the hang of things you're suddenly blasting the ball wide or the goalkeeper figures out his job. Still, it's free to play and there's a nice cash prize on offer. We suspect that if you do hit the target score then you'll get a decent chunk of the cash.
One thing we'd like to see is details of recent winners. The game has been active for a few weeks now, but no winners indicated. It'd be nice to know it is possible to win! By the way if the £1000 prize isn't won then it doesn't carry over to the next day. A rollover element to the game would be a welcome addition.
